Just as shown online. Great location for walking to town or quick drive. Will definitely book in the future. Just two ladies, but we each had our own floor. Highly recommend.

We are so glad we rented from Dan. What a great host! Everything about this place was perfect. It was also close enough to walk to town. Janet, the concierge, was the best!She was very responsive and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Thank you for the special treat waiting for us at check in. All was great. However, you may not notice but the doorknob on the door to the deck is broken. Also coffee maker was left with old coffee and coffee grounds. Besides that the house was exactly what we were looking for!

The location can’t be beat and the house had everything we needed for our family. The guest services and communication were wonderful as well!

I always read reviews before deciding on a rental, so I feel it’s important to leave an open and honest review myself. I don’t remember what it was, the cost, the pictures, not sure, that led my to think this would be a very nice place to stay. Am I spoiled with nice places? Yes, I will admittedly I am. Anyway, it’s a cute, old rock home from the outside. The inside feels like a log cabin. It’s darkish in the house- one could call it cozy. The main level feels smallish with the nicest part being the looks of the kitchen, it seems to have had some updating. The bedroom on the main level is quite small and the bathrooms have not been updated. We had hoped to have a wood burning fireplace but that’s my fault for not inquiring about it. Traveling down a narrowish staircase you get to what feels like a little apartment with no kitchen. It is one open room except for the small bathroom that is it’s own room. There is a nice sized TV and one of those small fake electric “fireplaces”. If you like pieces of decor everywhere you will like how it is decorated. The bed was comfortable enough for us bed could definitely use a new mattress. I hate leaving a less than positive review but I feel it’s important to say how I really felt about it. There is a reason why everyone mentions the concierge- she, and her special touches, are the best part of this rental. The owners made a good decision hiring her to handle the property.

We were up in Highlands for our annual girl's trip and loved the house. There were four of us and the size was perfect for a short stay. Walking distance to Main St and the fireplace were our two favorite amenities. The wine and cake really topped it off! Thanks for creating a wonderful, sweet, place for visitors to Highlands to stay.

We enjoyed our weekend so much thanks to this gem of a house! Perfect for 2 couples, plenty of space. House has a small footprint but is spacious. Great location! We walked to dinner both nights. Not noisy. Very quiet.

We enjoyed our stay! We were looking for walkability to downtown and this was perfect. Cozy and well decorated. We loved the special touch of the birthday cake and wine.

This was a great location for access to Highlands and surrounding areas. We were impressed by the ease of check in and check out and felt very welcomed!

Unfortunately it rained all weekend and our daughter and her friend were sick. However, we were welcomed with a delicious Bundt cake, bottle of wine and some beautiful flowers. Made the rain a little less miserable. Only suggestions to bump up to a four star would be fresh bath mats and shampoo/conditioner in the showers. Location, not much you can do about, but it was close to town.

We are an Atlanta senior couple looking for a small cottage close to Main Street. Our expectations were fully met during the 4 night stay. The extensive pine interior provided an old school feel, which was welcomed since we cooked in every night except one. Both smart TV's were capable of reaching Netflix, allowing us to watch movies upstairs or down. Given the opportunity, we would stay again. Jann and Gene

Lovely cottage close to town, but felt miles away and very private. Located next to the Bascom Center, we enjoyed a performance by the Memphis ballet. The property is beautifully appointed making you feel right at home. Janet did an outstanding job with making sure all our needs and expectations were met. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

Walk to town and house was far better then represented. The house comes with a concierge and Janet could not have been more delightful and responsive. Janet made fantastic dinner reservations for us

Not suitable for young kids, next to a venue that had an event late Saturday night, very loud, until 11:30pm Patio isn’t clean or really useable, parking very limited. It’s easy drive to main, if you’re not spending much time there it works…it’s clean, very tight in top bedroom, no room for luggage.

We stayed over the 4th of July (long) weekend and it was the perfect place! An easy walk into town but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. There were fresh flowers, wine and chocolate cake waiting on us when we arrived and the property manager could not have been nicer! Would highly recommend!
