The breathtaking view, comfortable property, and perfect location have brought us back for a second straight year. In addition, the well appointed kitchen allows us to cook wonderful family meals (which is essential with two picky eaters). Hopefully, we can visit over the summer to enjoy lakeside activities!

2nd time staying at this location and it was great! We lucked out with the weather being in the mid-80's for early October and we were able to enjoy the lake. Great peaceful location and views - a true escape!

We enjoyed the row boat and kayaks. The lake was beautiful and calm. We took a couple trips into Traverse City for dinner and breweries and had a wonderful time.

Very comfortable lake house, the lake is very busy but you still feel secluded with all the trees which to us is a perfect balance. The house feels very much like a home with small touches that make it feel very comfortable to settle in.

Brought our fishing boat. Kids caught a lot of fish on the lake and off from the dock. Kids had fun jumping off from dock and swimming. Went to sand bar one day! Wine tasting on Leelanau Penninsula one day. Clinch Park swimming and ice cream another day. Great house and location! We will be back for sure!

We had a great time in this lake house - loved having our own dock for fishing and we got a lot of use out of the kayaks and paddle boards. House was very clean and updated and was located in a cute and quiet lake community. We had fun exploring the area as well and frequently went into Traverse City. Be sure to check out Sleeping Bear Dunes and all the cute costal communities while you're in the area!

We had an incredible time at the cottage. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We originally thought about bringing our cats with us but changed our minds. The owner was kind enough to have the accommodations for them ready. Everything we needed was provided. The views were spectacular. The foosball table was a big hit with our family! Thank you for such a wonder experience. We will definitely consider coming back here.

Property was perfect for my husband and I who took a last minute fall trip to Traverse. The kitchen is well appointed and the views of the sunrise on the lake were spectacular. The Property is a short 15 minute drive from all the shops and restaurants in downtown TC so it was convenient to go to town. There is also a fabulous hike a few miles away called Brown Ridge that was an amazing 5 mile hike along the Boardman River. The master had a very comfortable bed which is always a must for me to receive a 5 star rating. Anyone renting should know there are steps to get into the property. Also, the second beds are all down below. My only issue and its very minor is I wish they had window coverings of some sort in the LR and on the doors. It leaves you feeling a bit exposed at night when the lights are on. We'd rent this place again because its a great location and was very comfortable!

We had terrible weather for our entire stay but we’re not lacking for things to do either when we want it or stayed in. Wonderful view from the living room. Nice showers. Fully stocked kitchen. Very quiet location. 15-20 minutes to places we wanted to go near Front St in Traverse City. We had thought about inviting our older parents along too but glad we did not as they probably would have had trouble with the steps down to the house from the parking area.

The cottage is so clean and cozy! It has everything you need and more! Bed is super comfortable. Showers are great!!! The surrounding area is beautiful!!!

We had a great time in Traverse City and the surrounding area. This home is located out of the city but close enough to explore without being in the car all day. Lots of great wineries in the area. If you are looking for a lake front place to stay away from the city this home will be a perfect fit.

Great getaway on an absolutely beautiful lake. Lots of fun paddle boarding and kayaking. The home is clean and comfortable and we would recommend it to families wanting to enjoy Michigan summer together!

We had a great stay, the place was beyond well stocked. Cary is very quick to respond to any questions. My only negative was the electric boat was not working, which was a bummer since we planned on using it to fish. Best place we have rented in Traverse City area!

Our family of 4 (2 adult children) had a wonderful week staying in this charming cottage right on Spider Lake. The view of the lake and the morning sunrise is incredible. The neighbors are very friendly, and lake sporting times are respected by all. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming on the lake. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Traverse City for shopping, dining, and Grand Traverse Bay. It's also close to Moomers, our favorite ice cream place. And the Tart Trail and Hull Park were awesome locations for biking and running. We also enjoyed a very fascinating tour of The Village at Grand Traverse Commons, I would recommend checking it out if you have a bad weather day. Finally, thanks to the air conditioning we were very comfortable during 3 days of 90+ degree weather. The cottage is very well equipped as it seems Cary has thought of everything, so there is really no reason to leave if you don't want to :) We played games, relaxed and read on the deck, and cooked meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was hard to leave this morning, thank you for everything!

The house was really nice with great views. Short drive to all that traverse city has to offer. Lower level would be perfect if I brought my kids. The only negative was the lack of yard for the dog. Linens where nice, and the kitchen was well stocked with nicer dishes and pans.

This was a really lovely property, clean, modern, perfectly decorated with all the amenities you need. Really appreciated all the little touches, like cozy blankets for everyone right down to pet blankets, paw towels, and baggies. Our family felt rested, renewed, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway, yet close to all the action in Traverse City.

Awesome clean cottage with great views of Spider Lake! A really nice quiet area to relax for a few days and visit Traverse City. The kids enjoyed all of the games and foosball table. Will definitely be back!!
