Friends for over 50 years that we meet every year somewhere. This house in Douglas was the perfect spot. We loved the living room area for gathering and the deck for Happy Hour. We were able to enjoy Lake Michigan from the house as well as down by the beach. Perfect spot. Thank you.

Our family has enjoyed renting this home several times. It’s just perfect. Beachfront, great street , location to Douglas and Saugatuck. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. The decorating is well done. We will be back! Highly recommend!

Once again we gathered all our children and grandchildren at your beautiful home on Lake Michigan. We loved our stay so much the previous year that we decided unanimously to come back. The home is in such wonderful proximity to all that Michigan offers. Steps down to the beach where so many memories were made, walks to Outside Coffee and The Root Beer Barrel. And visits to Saugatuck and Holland were enjoyed by all. The sunsets were breathtaking from the 3 decks . When we arrived we noticed the air conditioner wasn’t keeping up with the higher temperatures that day. Even though it was a weekend, the problem was promptly taken care of . We truly appreciated the quick response. We have already booked our family time for next summer!

This is a wonderful cottage on the beach in a great location. We walked and biked into Douglas and Saugatuck. The beach is beautiful, and the house is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Our vacation was a magical family reunion. The house was perfect for our needs - beautifully designed and decorated, with many amenities that made it both very comfortable and family friendly. We visited slightly preseason, and had the beach practically to ourselves! The sunsets were stunning, the tree canopy majestic. We walked almost daily to a nearby outdoor coffee shop, just past a small bird sanctuary. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. We felt very fortunate that they were willing to share their much loved home with us.

The property was everything we hoped it would be, and even more so! Lots of rooms with comfy beds, a cozy gathering so save and large dining room table. The sunsets were gorgeous off the back deck.

Every thing about our stay was magical. The property was in pristine condition - exceptionally clean and cozy. Prompt responses to all questions before we arrived. Comfortable beds, beautiful views, yummy snacks and coffee provided, HEAPS of games and puzzles that thrilled my teen, a fully stocked kitchen and showers with essentials and fluffy linens provided. We enjoyed an almost full moon perfectly positioned and reflected over the water, and even the sunrises were beautiful in cotton candy colors over the lake. We hope to return as soon as possible!

We had a beautiful weekend at the Pink House! Just walking in, everything was what we expected and more! The kitchen had EVERYTHING you could need/want, even kids plates and utensils. The beds were wonderful, the entire living space was cozy and easy to live in for a weekend. Not to mention the views from the house were spectacular! Our hosts were fantastic! Even the weeks before our trip, Bob was easy to get a hold of for any questions and was very accommodating! Just a gem of a place all around! We highly recommend this home!

This house was amazing! The views were spectacular. I can’t say enough good things about this home. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were also fully stocked with full size shampoo and conditioner. Beds and bedding were all very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone. We went in February but actually had pretty great weather. Location can’t be beat. Minutes to downtown Saugatuck and a short car ride to South Haven and St. Joe’s and Holland. Would love to come back when it’s warmer because the beach was amazing! Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

We loved our short stay at the pink house! It was incredibly clean and obviously very well maintained. We rent properties in Saugatuck/Douglas every year with our families and this was our favorite. The view of the water is incredible and the house is appointed with everything you might need. We had great communication with our host and we would love to stay again.

Beautiful home with sunset views. Everything that was advertised. It was the wrong time of the year to enjoy the water, but the beach walks were perfect. We returned to the cozy fireplace to warm up before game night at the 10 person table. Plenty of room for our family which included teens, young adults and some of us not so young. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the heat floors downstairs was a nice touch. Lake life is the best!

Great location near Saugatuck with easy beach access

Perfect in EVERY WAY!!!!...This house has it all!! We have used VRBO the last few times we have stayed in Michigan and this house is by far one of our favorites! Everything was just perfect. From the kitchen stocked with absolutely everything you could need, nice cookware and appliances...down to the bedrooms and bathrooms cozy and comfy with excellent bedding and towels. Loved the large selection of puzzles and the use of the bikes to take a short ride in the the evenings...area is peaceful and quaint. Of course.... the real gem of this place is the lake. Views are just amazing.... and sunsets absolutely lovely. No detail has been missed. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us.

This lovely home is beautiful, spacious and richly appointed. Perched on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, the home’s decks offer dramatic views of the ever-changing water, waves and sky. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will return.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was just what we needed. The house is gorgeous and right on the beach with plenty of space for guests to have quiet if they need it and friend time if they need that. Bob and the others who help take care of the house quickly responded to a small glitch with a screen door and easily resolved the issue. Everyone really enjoyed their stay and we're hoping to go back soon!

Our entire family loved his this beautiful, well-appointed, and well-stocked house! The location can't be beat, with a lovely beach and sunsets from the multi-level decks framed by towering oak trees. From beach chairs and towels to a complete spice drawer, the friendly owner has thought of everything to make your vacation relaxing and memorable.
