We had a wonderful long weekend in Bryson City. We stayed at Big Oaks Pointe and the cabin was amazing. Beautiful views of the mountains and Bryson City.

We didn’t know what to anticipate, but the property was many times nicer than the pics. Great view of the “Polar Express” if you have kids there n town for the railroad, this is the place. Beautiful river, mountain and railroad veiw.

The process was easy but instructions needs updating. The picture of the lockbox that was sent was not the one on the property. The code did not work on the lockbox that was there. It appears that entry is now keyless.

The house is great, very clean, comfortable and hot tub is very relaxing! Also a great view of the mountains and you can see the train (from a distance) from the porch in the wintertime. The driveway can be a little tricky but worth the stay. Great location as well, only 7 minutes from the downtown.

The house has amazing views and the split 2/2 layout it great. So convenient to have a washer and dryer right in the house. You do hear the train every morning (early) but I enjoyed that. Unfortunately the communication with the property management company was lacking. I had to email three times and call twice to get them to send me the address and check in information. This information did not come until less than three hours before our check in time when we were already en route to the cabin, hoping we would not be left without a place to stay. During our stay the fireplace only worked for about a day (maintenance came out to turn on the pilot light but then the propane tank ran out and they never came to fill it) and the hot tub stopped working at the end of our stay. Maintenance tried to fix it but it was an electrical issue. The cabin also had no trash bags, so I’d recommend bringing some basic supplies. You only get two towels per person, so between the hot tub and showers you either need to bring some additional or do laundry/dry them often. If we hadn’t had multiple issues this would have been the perfect place to stay!

The entrance to the driveway needs to be widened to make it less scary and difficult to pull in and park in front of the house.

We loved our stay, our 5/7 year old had a blast with the games they had at the house and the wonderful view. The beds were comfy, check in was simple. The only negative was it was hard to get in and out of the driveway with our RAV4, luckily we had side cameras so it was doable

Just what we needed for a weekend away. Bryson city is so close but we felt secluded, great place.

The house was very clean. Close to the town. neighbors are not close.

This is by far one of the nicest and well taken care of places we’ve stayed. The furnishings and the kitchen ware were phenomenal. Very impressed. Though, the fire place does not stay lit for more than a minute.

A nice floor plan with large rooms. Loved the view of Bryson City from the balcony. The bedroom tv's need to be hooked up to the satellite dish. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The hot tub was fantastic! The house was a little hard to get to because the road was a little daunting since it was a one car road. Some of the curves need traffic mirrors mounted so you can see what is coming toward you.

One of the nicest VRBO cabins we've ever booked. Great view and very comfortable. The driveway is a little tricky so be careful.

We rented this cabin for a girlfriends get away. We liked the split floor plan. The kitchen and baths are modern. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice flooring. Mattresses do need to be replaced Living room is dark even during the day. A very quiet place with views of the Smokies. Approach is a winding, one lane road which would be tricky at night. Only a mile or so to downtown Bryson City.

The property was just as listed! Overall, we enjoyed this property for a short stay; we are an older couple and enjoy exploring new places and love to find short opportunities to have our small sidekick, Benji, to travel with us. The master bed was literally one of the best in our traveling experience! Bryson City is geared toward those who enjoy the outdoors and rafting, with plenty to do as well as some downtown finer dining and shopping.

Nice quiet area and very private. It was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the sounds of nature. Very relaxing. The driveway was a little quirky, but we got used to getting in and out ok without having to turn around.

The place has great potential could be a 5 star except; The bedroom TV's do not work. Messaged the manager and got a reply that it had been called in. So, no bedroom tv all weekend. the BIGGEST and WORST issue with this rental is the BEDDING. it was NOT a comfortable weekend. The mattress 's in both bedrooms have wollowed out troughs (sunk in spots) where each person has slept for who know how long. So if you are going for rest and relaxation, dont bother until they post that they have new bedding. I am so serious about this, when we walked in and looked at the beds we almost left for a motel. The beds were so bad that even with the bedspread on you could see the wollowed out spots in the mattress. There was not hope for refund since it was a spur of the moment trip but please beware. It is no joke. I have photos to show. THE PLACE IS NICE, BUT THE COMFORT OF BOTH THE BEDS MADE IT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, 2 in our party have back issues and it was BAD.

I did have difficulty with the steep drive getting out of the property.

Cabin only 4 minutes from train depot! Cozy cabin had everything we needed including a hot tub. We will be back!

We loved it. The driveway was bad for use with a full size four door truck.

Great location and view. Perfect size for a family of 4. Kids had blast. The town was so nice and only about a mile away. Very convenient. I would stay again.
