A very attractive and well appointed villa. Lovely views over the tree tops to the sea. You feel that you're in the jungle, with many birds and the occasional mammal visiting.

This is a gorgeous property, beautifully landscaped, excellent location, the pool area is wonderful and the view is exceptional. BUT, we had issues. For the sake of time, I'm not going to detail everything but here's the gist. The Property Management here needs to be replaced. We arrived in the evening after dark and no one was there to let us in. Calls to her went unanswered and when we finally got in the house she was irritated with us. The next morning she had to replace 8 lightbulbs because many of the exterior lights and all but one of the lights in the kitchen were burned out or not working. She also brought us a toaster to replace the broken toaster. The biggest issue was we had a toilet in the 2nd bedroom that leaked sewage all over the floor when you flushed, leaving it unusable for almost the entire visit. The plumber was called 3x and on the 3rd visit they decided that it wasn't repairable during our visit so they removed the actual toilet and the room smelled of raw sewage. The only other working toilet was upstairs in the master bedroom, which makes it very uncomfortable when people are sleeping there. The owner was very kind and responsive and offered us a free week at a later date. Again, she is very kind but why should we need to return to be compensated for what should have been provided during our initial visit.

Celebrated our 25th Anniversary at this wonderful house. An awesome retreat yet close to Uvita and shops and restaurants. Owner and manager were extremely responsive and helpful

The 3 bedrooms are all air conditio, the main room kitchen does not but with the doors open was enough to keep it cool, we didn't use it a lot. The only 2 things I'd say need help is they need some kind of wifi extender as the 3rd outer bedroom couldn't get wifi, the other is it be nice to have a relaxing seating area by the pool since it's the best place to watch the sunset! You really can not get a better view anywhere I don't think. It's convenient to Uvita and all the restaurants in the area are delicious. Olmer, the caretaker, was the best, he helped me book tours and was always there if we needed anything, even lifts if we needed to! Devinia is lucky to have him, he a treasure.
