We had a plaesant stay. Alls was okay. For a longer stay would miss a dishwasher. All in all - perfect.

We felt very much at home here. My husband and I stayed at the residence along with our adult children for a family event. The views of the lake were stunning (especially at sunrise); the kitchen had everything we needed; the bed was so comfortable; bath soap, shampoo, and towels were available; the washer and dryer (complete with laundry detergent) downstairs was great. Craig was wonderfully responsive which we really appreciated. We even had other family members over for a fun game of "gin rummy" along with enjoying Escanaba's famous pasties (pronounced "pass-tees"). The next time we need to go to Escanaba, this will be our "go to" place for sure!! -Ann

We were very pleased with the house and the property owner. Due to a family situation we had to request multiple changes to our dates at the last minute and the property owners were flexible and very responsive allowing us to add days on the front and back ends of our stay. The property has plenty of parking as we had three vehicles Some things that would improve the experience: -Create a book with checkout instructions/expectations & Wi-Fi information -More amenities in the kitchen like extra pots/pans, storage containers, and silverware. House had all of these items but with 6 adults over an extended stay more would have been better Would definitely recommend the house and the owners! Thanks

Communication with the host was excellent. House was very clean and well stocked. The only glitch was finding the house. We arrived after dark, which didn’t help. The house is set behind another house on the street. We finally figured out to go down the paved driveway runs alongside the side. Plenty of space for parking, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location. Only wish it would have been warmer to sit outside on the nice decks(upper/lower) and have morning coffee or evening wine. Walked out our door and directly to the park for a morning walk and around the lake. Shopping/Restaurants close. Communication with Craig was very good. We had an amazing time staying at your property. The veiws are spectacular. Yes, the house has everything you need and spacious. The floors and stairs are a little creeky but gives it character. Centrally located for everything we wanted to do. We asked Craig the host for some recommendations for restaurants in the area and they did not disappoint. Thanks ! Would stay again if in the area.

This property worked out perfect for my friends and I. Such a great location to downtown Escanaba and other areas of the U.P. for hiking and biking. Great place to come back to after busy days of physical activities. We plan on staying again.

This beautiful historical home is in the heart of everything. We sat outside sipping coffee amid the beautiful sight of the bay and park. A walk around the adjoining park, lighthouse, and restaurants was a daily venture. If you want solitude with all the amenities of the area, stay here. The owner is personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay! Escanaba was the perfect “base camp” for a number of day trips. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The nearby beach was just gorgeous. The owner was very responsive. We had a great trip!

Property was very clean. There was a lot of attention to remodel this historic home, lots of USB outlets to power devices. WiFi was sufficient for my kiddo to watch cartoons via the iPad in the morning. Nice location for kids to bike to park. Recommend taking bike or skates to get to the park, library, and beach. Aldis and Meijer as a short drive to get essential groceries for the week. Great view of the bay especially at sunrise!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversaries with another couple here. This place was spotless and exactly as advertised. Great location in historic Escanaba, overlooking Little Bay De Noc. Property is next to the park and offers great views and entertainment within short walking distance. Craig is wonderful and very responsive. This is a great property. The location can’t be beat and the home was clean and spacious. No complaints at all.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy clean house. The location is fantastic by the water. Could use a few more items in the kitchen such as a grater, better knives, larger frying pan but overall this place is really nice! We also enjoyed the games trunk!

This house was great for what we needed. It was clean and the owner was more easy to work with. We used it for ice fishing the bay, which is literally right across the street. Easy access to the bay.

This was the perfect place for my family of 6 while we were visiting Escanaba. The house had everything we needed. I was even able to cook Thanksgiving dinner! The kids loved the big yard to play in and that the park was walking distance. The view of the lake was also spectacular. We will be renting this house again in the future!

I had a consulting gig for a week in Escanaba. First time I’ve VRBO’d for work. I’m glad I did. This house had it all, e.g., nice living area, way access to washer & dryer, easy walk to downtown. Plus, it was just yards from the water. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked with necessary pots and pans. I’d use this location again.

For a quick little weekend getaway, this was the perfect home base to see what the UP had to offer. The house was well situated, very clean and very comfortable. There was more than enough room for two and would have been comfortable with more. Beautiful views, especially sun rises. Definitely recommend.

My cousin and I do an annual trip to different parts of Michigan and decided on Escanaba this year. This rental house was WONDERFUL!! It was exactly as it appeared on the VRBO site and Craig (the host was) very helpful and responsive. I had to contact him because of a power outage - turned out to be only an hr & was because of a squirrel - and he got right back to me. Was clean, updated & very nicely decorated. The view to the water was beautiful with the park being right there which made for nice evening walks. Plus, is was so close to downtown that if we wanted to, we could have walked there. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who asks.

Clean, updated, fantastic location! Comfortable accommodations for two couples plus one. Location was close and walkable to both the park, marina and also Main Street. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoors. We had family come together to enjoy Labor Day weekend. As the yard bumps up against park the yard is plenty big to enjoy yard games. The neighborhood is nice as is the neighbors. My daughter is already planning a return. Thank you !
