The cabin was clean and presented accurately online. The kitchen is stocked, and the gas grill worked easily. We came to float, and the proximity to the Gilbert General store was perfect! Highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our time at this cabin. We floated and hiked the Buffalo River and spent the evenings at the cabin enjoying the outdoors (incredible star gazing here!). We liked the movie and game options in the cabin for evening entertainment.

A great home base for hiking and enjoying this beautiful part of the Ozarks. We cooked-out on the grill and enjoyed the night sky, listening to the frogs.

We really enjoyed our time at this well crafted, CLEAN, A-frame cabin situation at the top of this hill that has views of rolling acres with cattle, sheep, and birds all to enjoy just from your front porch! The home was fully stocked with everything you need from ample toilet paper and linens to even movies and board games for the whole family. My 3 kids (ages 8- almost 16), really loved the loft that is accessed by a spiral staircase. They enjoyed their own beds with custom built-ins for all their things! Don’t wait, book your stay here and escape from all your worries… I promise you won’t regret it!

This place is even better than it looked online. The hosts thought of everything. The beds upstairs were super cozy and each had its own plug in for chargers, overhead reading light, and cubby for storage. The guide had instructions for everything in the house. The location is very convenient to town, but so dark at night that you can see the Milky Way. Scenic views, including farm animals really made it extra special. Truly incredible place. We might go back every year.

This property was the best VRBO ever!! Close to the river and hiking! The cabin is also close to town with adorable little shops. The cabin had everything you could want! The master bed was sooo comfortable!! The cabin was so unique and beautiful. Sitting outside on the deck watching the stars was amazing. We had a campfire at the fire ring and roasted s'mores. The best thing ever, we watched the fireflies all around!! We will come back to this cabin!!

This is a beautiful place. It is comfortable and clean, everything is well labeled, and books about the area are available. There are board games and great movie options. The shower is incredible. This is also a great place for star gazing and relaxation.

Perfect location for visiting Buffalo National River with several hiking trails and river access nearby. Cabin was very clean and well appointed.

We had a wonderful family time at the cabin. It was quaint, well appointed, great views and location. We loved the bunk room upstairs and all the games and DVDs available. The fire pit was perfect and the stars were the best we have ever seen. The location was great for canoeing on the Buffalo too. We would stay here again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the cabin is very spacious for a couple or small family. The cabin is on a working ranch property, and the owners live nearby in view of the cabin. There are a couple good restaurants very close nearby, and there are two Buffalo river access points within a 10 minute drive.

We loved everything about our stay here. The cabin was beautifully built, clean, lots of games, beautiful view, and the owners were the sweetest!. I loved waking up and sitting out on the front porch drinking coffee, watching the cattel, and only being able to hear nature. This was such a peaceful place to be and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely stunning craftsmanship, beautiful scenic area, and the host was as pleasant and helpful as can be. I very much look forward to renting this fantastic cabin again during the summer months! Well worth the money!

Our family came to attend the Darksky Festival at Tylers Bend. This darling A-frame was the perfect spot, atop a hill with unobstructed views of the stars. The cabin was pristine with all the amenities. The Berkleys were lovely hosts. We learned that they built the A-frame and their home with lumber they milled from the property. Close to conveniences and the Buffalo River what more could you ask? Just the best!

We needed an overnight stay on the way to pick up my father in Arkansas. This is a beautiful location, very clean and really lovely. Lots of DVD’s and games and folders filled with information on the area of things to do.
Just a FYI-great water pressure ! A wonderful place to view the night sky filled w stars!

BEAUTIFUL! The cabin was breathtaking inside and out. All the amenities you need. Wonderful fire pit. Great front porch with a view and lots of wildlife to watch - morning coffee and afternoon beer. Sitting on the porch watching the cows taking their afternoon dip in the pond was entertaining. Close to the Buffalo River but away from all the commotion. The owners greeted us when we arrived and offered many suggestions of things to do. We are definitely going back!!!!!

Perfect Place For Exploring the Buffalo River Area
We only stayed 1 night, but it was perfect for our needs. It was very well equipped, had basically everything anyone would want. Slept 2 in the Master downstairs, and that bath also has a door to the living areas down stairs. We used the fire pit and the grill. Both worked well - Kevin had some dry wood , which really helped since it had rained earlier in the day. The 4 cubbies (places to sleep upstairs- we used 2 of them) were very comfortable. the whole place is very well designed with lots of nice interior touches...you can load and unload from the back door which is on ground level. The front porch is raised which gives a nice view and breeze, looking south / southeast toward Gilbert. Its very safe and comfortable with good lighting and fencing around the property.

Everything about the cabin was perfect. Very clean! We were worried about our 4 yr old and the stairs but he took to them just fine. A younger child or having to carry a child won’t work well but my 4 and 6 yr old loved the stairs and had no problems with them. The outside was perfect for grilling, marshmallows and star gazing. The sunrise was beautiful. The location is perfect your just down the road from Gilbert and Saint joe and not far from Tyler Bend. The hosts were very kind and our kids loved watching them work their ranch. The best experience we could ask for!
