I am a local and wanted to take a little get away. This location was perfect! Near a park and the city. The property is very cute, and comfortable. The bathroom is great and the beds are very comfy as well as the couch. I was also obsessed with the little circle room.

Nicely finished attic apartment in an old Victorian home near a great coffee shop, grocery store and nice access to a park and trail.

The apartment is quiet and pleasant. The beds are comfortable. The owner was very responsive and welcoming. We were very pleased with everything about our stay.

We had a wonderful weekend in St. Paul staying in this lovely home! I could not recommend more. We were weary parents traveling for the first time with our infant and this oasis was the perfect calming environment she needed after a long day adventuring. Everything from the garden to the bathroom was beautiful. The owners are wonderful people and if we find ourselves in Minnesota again we will definitely look to stay again!

Lovely little home located in East St. Paul. The attic of this historic home was converted into a 2 bed apartment. Just adjacent to the old Hamm's Brewery. 4th star given to location as it is a little difficult to maneuver a van in and out of the driveway/alleyway. But no harm, and everything worked great. Michel was a great host and hope to stay there again!

We went to St Paul for a concert at the Palace Theater. It was a quick 6 min drive, roughly 40 min walk. Place is bigger than it looks. Very clean and cozy. I recommend!

Lovely 3rd floor apartment with awesome bed, linens, spacious living room. Elegantly appointed rooms. Keurig needs an upgrade for coffee lovers.

Brought my daughter and her friend to MN for a concert, my daughter picked this place as soon as she saw the first picture and they loved it the whole time we were there. Friendly owners as well.

We were in the city for final fittings of our wedding outfits for my daughter’s wedding. It was a cozy and peaceful place to sit, chat, and rest after a busy day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location, and elegant apartment. It made for a very comfortable place to retreat to between wedding events. Lovely bedroom and living room. Friendly hosts.

If you are looking for a vacation rental that is full of charm and history this is the place to stay! The stairs do give you a workout, but the beautiful space is worth the climb!

This historic home offers a weary traveler the perfect respite. Being on the third floor all the windows offer a lovely view. And the pillow filled reading nook is a place I could have hibernated in for a season.

We walked away from our March vacation (sure wasn’t spring!) smack dab in the final-ish snow of the season saying, this was one of our best vacations ever. And it’s all thanks to this cute flat with a ridiculously comfortable bed and couch. (And Gerry’s snow blowing, thank you sir!!!) The bed, bath, and living rooms are quite spacious (easily the size of a hotel suite), and the little turret is a great sunny spot for reading, or napping in my case. And though the kitchen is a bit too small to comfortably cook in for a few days straight (particularly for a six foot person, it has a bit of a slope to the ceiling), good food was always 5-15 min away. Go enjoy the MN eats and come back to this home base for a cup of coffee and a good read/show! My wife and I would love to go back and walk the trails of Swede Hollow in the spring or fall… or simply kick back and enjoy each other’s company again. Thanks a ton for the great stay!

A beautiful and very cozy Victorian. A lovely experience

We came here for our Valentines Day wedding night and an additional night. We absolutely loved our stay. We were ecstatic to find a dozen roses and beautiful Valentines cookies on a silver platter for us. This unit is completely renovated with keeping the Victorian style in mind. Each bedroom is adorable! The bathroom is large, and the clawfoot soaking tub is divine! The sofas are stylish and comfy. We loved the nooks and views. The skylight in the kitchen provides sunlight streaming in. You must read about the history of Swede Hollow in the 2 books about it that are provided. We highly recommend going to Brunson"s Pub for happy hour and the Swede Hollow Cafe for coffee, breakfast or lunch. We will return for our anniversary, or perhaps in the summer.

Loved this nice and cozy space. Michel was wonderful to work with and communication was great. We would recommend this place and absolutely stay here again when we are back in town.

My friend, and I like to keep busy. We were able to explore St Paul, Swede Hollow Park and many locations in Minneapolis from this location. Easy to drive to. I-94 not far away but far enough to not feel it was nearby. Many places to eat nearby. Loved this 3rd floor suite. It was clean and had everything we wanted.

It was a perfect place to stay in the city while visiting my daughter nearby. Very much felt it was my own little aerie overlooking Swede Hollow.

Stayed here for a 4-night stay with a few friends as we explored the Minneapolis/St Paul area and overall greatly enjoyed this little spot. It is a cute little well furnished space with smart TV on the 3rd floor of this Victorian. Only minor complaint was the size of the bed for me being tall, but this is no one's issue but mine and my fellow tall people. Also the lower ceilings. Just something to be mindful of if you're above average height. I appreciated the large number of towels, toilet paper, blankets and other necessities. Would recommend to others for a stay in the area.

This property is a must stay! We stayed a long weekend for a Vikings game. The owner was wonderful and responsive. We especially loved the tower reading nook and the large soaking tub. Loved all the details and love that went Into this space. Only 20 minutes from Mall of America and 5 minutes from the tram. Check out Swede Hollow Cafe for a cup of coffee or delicious breakfast.

This is one of my favorite places I have stayed in the twin cities. The private apartment is spacious and furnished with comfy furnishings. I would love to spend a few days just reading and relaxing in this place.

The master bedroom was classic and beautiful. The living room area has a pillow corner that would be fabulous for reading. The furniture is very comfortable You could have up to 6 people stay comfortably.

The Victorian house and fabulously renovated suite are fantastic. Highly recommend a stay here.

The house was really unique, old but updated, and Michel thought of everything. The bed was amongst the most comfortable I had stayed in ever! I loved my little room under the eves. Neighborhood seemed fine although perhaps a bit sketchy not too far away. We had a quiet night and enjoyed the ample space!

My two kids and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved the claw-foot tub, cozy alcoves, and pretty views of the Victorian garden. It was impeccably clean, and was exactly as expected. Both beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but nicely appointed with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. Thank you for the lovely stay!

It was a quick stay after a late night flight. I felt so welcomed and comfortable in the apartment. There were small thoughtful touches that would make any guest feel at home. Stairs are in abundance but worth the climb.

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. It was wonderful to each have our own bedroom and lots of space to relax. Everything was spotless and tidy, and we appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into the entire space. The clawfoot bathtub was perfect for a soak after a long day, and the nook in the turret was just so cozy and charming. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect close to the downtown, the house was very clean and neat exactly like in the pictures, would definitely recommend it for family and friends, the Host Michel was very helpful and welcoming, and friendly we enjoyed our stay, she even put a small corner with toys and books for my 4 year old daughter she enjoyed it. Very cozy place Thank you for creating a Home far from home.
