We had a great time on our vacation. Explored the waterfalls, trails and Pictured Rocks. You must ride "Rip Tide" What a blast! Ate a lot of good food. Especially the white fish. Loved it! The apartment was like home away from home. Apartment manager was awesome too. We'll be back. :)

You are centrally located to water tours and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore hiking. You're right in town and can walk to restaurants, shops and ice cream. We were able to walk to the Pictured Rocks Sunset Cruise on Friday evening. Mainstreet Pizza was on the walk back and we picked up a take-out pizza on the way home. The apartment was a good size for the 4 of us and our teenagers appreciated each having their own queen sized bed. We had everything we needed in the apartment and the living room had seating for all of us. We had plenty of parking right outside the front door.We highly recommend doing the Pictured Rocks Kayaking Ultimate Tour. It was our favorite activity and the beauty was amazing. Getting in the water and up close to the rocks was truly special.Captain Ron's fish truck is also a must do. The whitefish baskets and sandwiches are delicious. For hiking, the Chapel Rock Trail leads you to the lake for beautiful views with waterfalls along the way. We would stay here again.

We trailered our boat to Sault Saint Marie & Munising to do sault locks & pictured rocks tours on our own and check out the waterfalls. Apt was in a good location. We were able to walk to restaurants & local bars which was nice since we had our boat. The apt was clean. Our only complaints were the beds. Very uncomfortable and sqeeky. The furniture was also stained worn. Would definitely recommend replacing the beds. And consider replacing the couch’s & chair.

The apartment is directly downtown. Be aware that in the directions it stated to look for the business directly below the rental. That business is no longer there and vacant. Property management should update to make it easier to locate. Maps on your cellphone did not work well in the area, so having updated directions is key. The apartment sleeps four comfortably, but the couch is shorter, and not big enough to have a teen sleep on (it does not have a pull out bed in the couch). There is not a washer and dryer, which with a VRBO is pretty standard, so just make note. There is a laundromat we used down the road, which worked for us, but was inconvenient. The place was very clean, had a full kitchen with supplies and in a fantastic location. The stairs to the apartment may not be for those that struggle physically with limitations. It was close to great restaurants and accommodated our two dogs, which is always a win to be dog-friendly. I would recommend to family/friends.

We really enjoyed staying at this home. Location was perfect for visiting Pictured Rocks NP and taking a cruise. I've never stayed in a home with as many blankets and towels. What a wonderful gift. Everyone was warm and comfortable.

For myself there was way too much paperwork, details in the paperwork and the door code did NOT work. We arrived after office hours and NEVER received a call back from the property manager. Location was perfect, apartment was a great space for my family of 6. No complaints at all. Only minor suggestion maybe leave a broom or swiffer for guest to sweep or knock down cob webs of unwanted guest ( spiders). Will definitely recommend!

The location is great! Beaches are close, Pictures Rocks is 15 minutes away. Numerous waterfalls and lovely hikes are close by. Updated kitchen and appliances. The owners have made an effort to make it welcoming and comfortable. The cleanliness of the unit is a drawback. There is no dishwasher (which is not pointed out in the description) so the cleanliness of all dishware, glasses and cookware is questionable. There is no broom so no way to clean up the sand on the floor during the week. In the guestroom there are numerous dead flies and alive spiders in-between the window and in the room! The guest room also needs blackout curtains to address the bright streetlight. The majority of these items could all be improved upon with a regular, thorough cleaning and the addition of a dishwasher in the island. We expected with the substantial cleaning fee that cleanliness wouldn't be an issue.

The good: location is nice, the place was clean and has been partialy updated. The bad: the entrace and walls were filthy and disgusting (not a good way to start our visit off), both bedrooms had 2 star mattresses that were worn out and creak every time you move. Also the bedroom doors stick/pop when opened so you get an interesting situation where anytime someone gets up at night everyone else gets an ear full of creaking mattress then a pop from the door... going AND coming! Lastly, the queen bedroom's a/c barely worked so we slept hot all 3 nights. Exorbitantly priced for what you get, then they want you to take out the trash AND strip the beds when you leave!

The property had everything we needed for our short stay. My husband and I and four children had a comfortable stay. It was spacious and mostly clean. I’m kind of picky and found crumbs on the furniture and bedside tables and a dirty island when we got there. Not a huge deal but something I noticed right away. I would recommend this property for sure .

Right in the middle of pretty much everything, maybe 20 minutes from the Pictured Rocks area, but within walking distance of restaurants/breweries/coffee shops. Property was clean and exactly as pictured. Plenty of room with some updates, especially in kitchen and bath. Owners communicated expectations and instructions in a timely manner. Would love to return to this area and this property in the future!

Nice TV selections; internet included. It is a long flight of stairs upstairs so not handicapped accessible. The host gave us great suggestions for places to go in the area. Highly recommend will definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location for a home-base for the upper peninsula. Most everything is within 1.5 hrs with some exceptions. The apartment was appropriate and the property manager was attentive and helpful. We would consider this location again.

Perfect spot for navigating the Pictured Rocks area of the UP. It is a modern and clean apartment.
