We rented out the four bedroom cottage only. It was quintessential/vintage Nagshead! Definitely glad we did it!!

Our extended family group of 24 had a fantastic vacation. Location was perfect, recreational opportunities were varied and plentiful, and there was almost everything you could hope for in amenities. Sandy was helpful, communicative, and a great host. Thanks for the memories!

House was perfect for our family, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner eager to help with problems.

My family of has been to OBX six times over the past 15 years. For this stay we had 29 family members ranging from 6 years old to 76. This house accommodates everyone. The kitchen and dining areas well planed out with room to spare. The layout, cleanliness, and activities that this home affords you is one of a kind. . Sandy Huber is a fantastic communicator and this house is perfect.

We always enjoy Nags Head and the Crawford Cottage has been the perfect place to accommodate our large and growing family!

Sandy is amazing to work with, and the home is beautiful. There are a few things that need touched up, ie a few broken screens in the porches. But the home is beautiful, in a great location, and easy for everyone to be around in- plenty of room for everyone to be in or outside if they want to be alone away from the rest of the group.

My now husband and I vacationed here with our closest friends and family from 5/17/22-5/23/22. We had 25 people staying at the house. We also held our wedding at Crawford Cottage on 5/21/22. I cannot say enough good things about Crawford Cottage. There is ample space for everyone and so much to do just at the house. From the easy walk to the beach, the pool, to the pool table, and the bar located on the lower level. Just WOW. It has something for everyone. In addition to vacationing at Crawford Cottage we held our wedding with 65 people at this location. Planning a wedding all in itself can be stressful, but Sandy made the process seamless and so easy. She exceeded all of my expectations and went above and beyond, from helping with coordinations to meeting up with our Wedding Planner and her team to look at the house (as we are from MA). And even sending flowers, (which made Mom cry within her first hour at the house). Between Sandy and the property manager, we always had responses within mnutes when something came up or we had questions. The house was everything we expected and then some. Our friends and family keep raving about Crawford Cottage and how nobody will ever be able to top our wedding/vacation week. This was the perfect space for us to host our closest friends and family! We can't wait to come back someday and continue to make lasting memories.

Great spot The weather was terrible but the house had so much, pool table, ping pong and two pools, we didn’t notice!

This is a really great house. Lots of good gathering spots for family both indoor and outdoor. I wasn't sure how the two houses would work, but we really appreciated it and the smaller cottage has a really nice outdoor patio area that used a few evenings. Great to be right on the beach. This is probably a house that is slightly better suited to a higher children to adult ratio than what we had (as mostly adults are looking for en suite bedroom/bathroom set-up and if we had had our normal showing we would not have been able to accommodate), but as we were a smaller group than normal for the holidays it was just about perfect.

The property was well maintained and had something for everybody’s interest. We had a large group of employees and the home accommodated everyone having their own bedroom. The home and the amenities allowed everyone to experience a great time despite the weather not cooperating for most of our stay. I would love the opportunity to stay in this home again and will look to book it again next year.

First of all Maria was fantastic. Super helpful and always answered any questions we had ! We had our wedding out on the deck and it was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and enough room for the 30 guests we had stay there with us ! Rooms were great and so was the pool and hot tub . Thank you Maria for everything! We would definitely go back

Spacious, unique and charming property was perfect for our large group. So many different places to hang out, from basement games room to pool, hot tub, decks and balconies, everyone found somewhere to relax.

We vacationed with family the week of 8/14-8/21/21. Our party of 24 included all adults ages 20-81. Crawford Cottage was exceptional with regard to the location, accommodations and amenities provided. It was definitely up to the task of providing a wonderful beach vacation for a large group with diverse preferences. It is one of the more unique and interesting properties we have rented in the 20+ years we have vacationed on the Outer Banks!

The property is very well laid out, with every possible amenity you can imagine. It’s an older property, so some repairs and updates that haven’t been done are needed, but overall, in good shape. The walkway to and from the beach is a disaster, with no railings or dune topped gazebo like the neighboring properties have. Notably horrible access FROM the beach leaving some older guests unable to go to the beach for fear of an ability to return to the house. MOST upsetting was the pool maintenance. When we arrived, the water level was low, and pretty cloudy. When we mentioned it to the pool guy, he blamed us. BRAND NÉW ARRIVALS to the property. And said that we had too many people, and the pool was designed for only about 6 bathers. (That’s ridiculous!! Especially in a house designed to hold 24+ guests.). The pool was obviously leaking from somewhere? We hadn’t even enjoyed the pool at that time yet the pool guy was using US for his excuse. There is an inside pool that was left green and wrinkled for our entire stay. Nobody would dare even set foot inside it. Except for those noted aggravations, we enjoyed the property, and think it would be a total gem if the updates I noted are made.

Crawford cottage is both eclectic and modern with a superior level of amenities! The house was in good order and superbly clean throughout.

Something for everyone - swimming, soaking, splashing on the beach, puzzles, games, cooking together - many great memories. The many nooks and crannies allowed a quiet space to read or nap or one-on-one conversations. It was the perfect place for us to become reacquainted and meet new family members as we are spread across the country.

This house was perfect for our large family. The house and cottage combined are so big you can get lost. Maria was very helpful prior to our stay and answered all our questions.

This property was large and spacious enough for our group of 18 people, ages 3-89 years of age. The elevator was a great bonus. The location was central to the things we wanted to see. The amenities were plentiful. Enough fridges, freezers, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas.

The game room was amazing. The accommodations were so great and comfortable. The ice maker on the second floor was a nice extra. Everything made our vacation worth remembering!

This was our second vacation at Crawford Cottage. The owner, Maria was accessible and very helpful. The house has had updates since our 2019 vacation and accommodated our large group very well. The heated pool, hot tub and beach delighted the children. The amazing sunrise each morning over the ocean was a plus. We would definitely return again.

This house is breathtaking, there is so much space that everyone in the family can enjoy the getaway! The kitchen is very large with 2 of everything (dishwasher, oven, stovetop, sinks, refrigerators) which made our stay even more enjoyable! Maria is very helpful and answered all of our questions leading up to our trip, making our prep for our trip a lot easier. The only negative we found was the stairs into the main house and the stairs and walkway to the beach need to be updated. Multiple nails and lose boards made it a bit hazardous, also there aren’t railing on the stairs going to the beach (taking young children on these were always nerve racking). Over all we had an amazing week and can’t wait for our next trip!

We went with a group of 20+ to the Crawford Cottage @ Outerbanks (Nags Head) and had a wonderful time. The house is really awesome and the pictures do not do it justice. The main house (3 floors with service elevator) is very very modern. It has 2 awesome bedrooms on the bottom floor with bathroom and another shared bathroom near the pool table and foosball. The 2nd Floor had many modern bedrooms, well equipped with TV's and most if not all had their own bathrooms as well. This floor also had a common area with TV, business computer and printer, patio, and entry to the elevated sun deck with large chess game, chairs, etc. It also had a small kitchen area with ice maker, sink, and fridge. Really really convenient. The top floor had a HUGE Kitchen, multiple large tables, 2 giant fridges, common bathroom and a King bed Suite. The indoor pool was cute for the little ones and the main pool one of the main attractions for the teens. What's really awesome for this house is it's location and setup. It's very large, very well equipped, located on the beach side, has 2 entrances to a very nice beach area . The beach area and ocean are great, not crowded at all and the waves are really great for boogeyboarding. We picked up boogey boards and some portable beach chairs at one of the many shops along the main street. The house also has 2 BBQ gas grills, the one near the main house is very large and we were able to kick steak, chicken, burgers, dogs for the 20+ of us with ease. The house also has grill tools and is gas powered grill so no need to worry about propane! The parking area of the house was VERY large, we had no issues at all parking the 5 SUVs there. There is also a driveway path to to get to the cottage to make it easy for anyone staying there. Plenty of giant garbage cans also in a very convenient area to dispose of your stuff. I can't capture how much we loved the house and the vacation. Again I'm sure Im missing a bunch but having the wireless speaker system in the house, ping pong table in the cottage, multiple laundry and dryers, Roku everywhere, good wifi coverage, ...... I will say the cottage could be updated a bit as it was part of the original build but our guests staying there loved it as it had its own kitchen, living room, etc. Thank you again for letting us share your house. We will be back!

Owner very easy to deal with as well as her property manager. House perfect for a large group and excellent features so if you don’t want to leave house during Covid 19 you have all you need at your fingertips. Swimming pools, ocean, pool and ping pong tables, cards or just sit on the decks and watch the ocean and sunsets. Very close to other activities like Parasailing, jet skis, bi plane rides and of course excellent ice cream across the street. All had a great time and I would recommend to anyone😊�

My mom, my sister and her family, my brother and his family and my family rent a beach house every year for our summer vacation. We found Crawford Cottage this year and it was the perfect place for our vacation. It is exactly half way between our home in SC and my family in PA. Everyone was amazed at how spacious it was and all the activities available. My grandson loved the life-sized checker board. There were highchairs, a pack & play, a crib and baby gates for our littlest one and an elevator for my elderly father. The kitchen was well stocked and there were many little sitting areas if I needed some quiet time for myself. I think there is more total deck space at CC than I have living space in my house. We felt very much at home and can't wait to come back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! We won't go anywhere else for our beach vacation after staying at Crawford cottage.
