I would recommend providing oven mitts as I searched the kitchen multiple times and could never find an oven mitt, as well as a cookie sheet would be helpful. The iron should also probably be replaced as when we brought it out to use the cord is broken and has only one prong. But aside from all of that, it was a great place to stay. Wonderful views easy access to the beach. We really loved our time there.

The location is perfect water front, and no elevator needed if you can handle 2 small flights of stairs. We enjoyed the pool as well, nice there are 2 to split people up. Only con was the mattresses in queens and bunk bedroom seem old and worn down.

Our family LOVED our stay and are already planning our next visit. We vacation in the area every year and after this year we will be sure to make Summer Place our forever choice of condos.

The location couldn’t get any better. The view was amazing, the beach was a short walk away. If I could change anything it would be that there would be a second hot tub. The kids loved it and I enjoyed using the Keurig and drinking my morning coffee overlooking the beach.

Everything was clean and comfy. Master bed was comfortable! We loved the large balcony and great view from it. The beach was beautiful and heated pool and hot tub were perfect for spring break. The only thing the unit was lacking was a pancake flipper and a grill flipper! It had everything else we needed/wanted! It was handy that there were beach toys for the kids including boogie boards in the unit. We also used some of the books/games that they kept for guests, which was nice. This whole beach has a very family-friendly atmosphere.

We had a short 4 night stay but we really enjoyed this condo and the property. Fantastic views, very comfortable, would absolutely stay here again!

There are 2 large dips/depressions in the mattress that made it feel like sleeping in a hole that was hard to get out of. Would highly recommend replacing the mattress

The cleaning staff had not cleaned those in a very long time. The refrigerator was dirty and we had to clean it somewhat. The furniture needs upgraded because of lots of wear and close to breaking down. We had issues with a neighbor smoking marijuana nightly on their balcony. We finally called the desk and they said they suggested they not do that. Next time I hope someone just calls the authorities. No keeping the highly unruly kids in check but they worried about Yeti containers being beside the pool decks. I have pictures of things I have stated in this review. It was not a bad condo just needs LOTS. of Love!

Enjoyed staying at this property! Spacious and clean condo with a short drive to Destin!! Love that we had access to two beach chairs with umbrella! Wish I owned this condo!! Lol

Checking in and out was awesome, the condo was just perfect..the area was very busy tho.. But my family and I spent most of our time at the pool or beach and we had a great time.

I have stayed at a neighboring condo on Okaloosa Island in the past, but will always come back to Summer Place! Communication with Jack and Denise could not have been better. Very helpful. Love the 2nd floor view; can see the ocean and still chat with your kids in the pool. Appreciate the small building and not having to use a parking garage. My daughter has already requested to stay at this unit again when we return in two years!

Everything was fine except the check in process !!The kitchen smelled a little weird but other then that the rooms where clean, nice view, the place was nice and had many toys and kitchen supplies which came in handy ! !!

We had a wonderful time at Denise’s condo. The place was super clean, spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The short walk to the beach was amazing and the included beach service was great!! The extra beach chairs was a bonus along with the boogie boards that my 3 teenagers loved using. We really enjoyed the large balcony and ate every meal outside because the view of the beach was spectacular!! There are several restaurants within walking distance from the condo and the grocery store was a quick 5 minute drive. Denise was a lovely host and great with communication. She responded vety quickly to my last minute booking which I greatly appreciated! Thank you Denise for sharing your condo! My kids had the best time and it was exactly what we needed this summer!!!!

This was our first stay at Summer Place and we loved the unit and location as a whole. The beach toys and chairs were a huge plus. Plenty of seating inside and on the balcony, and the second floor unit was perfect fir enjoying the sunrise and sunset. We’d love to stay here again.

Our stay in #208 was really good. The condo itself had everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend is grab bars in both the showers/bathtubs. We would definately stay there again.

This property had EVERYTHING you could need for your getaway! Multiple extra beach chairs ( which we needed) beach towels ( which we didn't need, but nice to have) Lots of utensils, plates, cups, a griddle, blender..etc etc The unit it beautifully decorated has lots of space and beds were very comfortable. We didn't have kids with us, but for anyone renting this unit, there are a lot of sand toys in a bin for kids to use, pails, shovels and even some floaties and smaller beach chairs. (and an extra beach umbrella) The owner ( Denise) was very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend this unit for all getaways, family, girls trips, guys, romantic etc ..it fits all! Looking forward to our return! Enjoy!

My family had a great time! The pools and pool deck were always clean. The beach was pleasant and not overly crowded. There was also easy access to local restaurants, always a plus! This is definitely a place that I would bring my family to again for a vacation.

We loved our stay at Summer Place 208! It was perfect for our family. View was very nice from the balcony even though we were on a lower floor. Very convenient location to grilling area. The pools and beach are steps (very few) away. We found plenty of cooking and serving items in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Thanks for the beach chairs there to utilize. We brought our own but would not have done so if we'd read more closely about items available to utilize. The chairs and umbrella already at the beach for us was very nice. Ft. Walton is our favorite place to vacation and the owner, Denise, was very nice to deal with. I recommend removing some of the older and broken outdoor furniture pieces. There are plenty of newer pieces there. It would provide more space to move around and to enjoy sitting with family to enjoy conversation and the view. We only had a minor issue with a drain and Denise helped us with that. Thanks for a beautiful vacation!

The property was well maintained and very clean! All staff at the condo was friendly and helpful. The only negative to this vacation was the excessive amount of traffic in the area.
