Stayed here the weekend of the Malibu triathlon. It was a perfect location & a beautiful property.

Great home with plenty of space for a large family. Couple of notes for owner- carpet on upstairs patio deck needs to go- it's in really bad shape. WIFI only worked sometimes. I sent you several messages about this- and was disappointed you never responded- nor to our request for an early check in. However, all in all it was a great experience!

Unique and charming abode with lots of space for gathering inside and out. Very relaxing Malibu experience for our family group of eight adults attending a wedding. Host provides excellent recommendations of beaches and restaurants in area. Loved every minute of it.

Beautiful property, overall comfortable stay and great location. Wonderful deck to just hang out and enjoy the view. Internet connection is intermittent which didn’t bother me too much. The AC unit upstairs is loud so I would not advise turning it on at night.

This house was a perfect fit for our family trip to Malibu. The size of the house was why we were drawn to stay here and it provided enough space for everyone to retreat when they needed a break from family. The views were amazing from the 2nd level patio and we were able to enjoy sunset from the hot tub. Some of the appliances were older and need repair, but overall we couldn’t have been happier with our stay in Malibu.

Amazing location, house, amenities and communication. When wifi went out, hosts worked to get it back on very quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We were looking for a nice escape from Texas heat and a relaxing place for our daughter to getaway from the city for a few days. The home was exactly what we were looking for and matched the description given by the hosts. The view of the ocean was incredible and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit each evening. the location was perfect for enjoying multiple beaches and near quite a few hiking trails. We definitely look forward to returning.

We had a fabulous time over our three nights. We were celebrating my daughters graduation from Med School and the different spaces in the home and on the decks made it possible to have small groups of meaningful conversation, plus the big dining room table fit all of us. Since it was a pretty gray weekend the many many soft cozy blankets were well used. Purrrrfect.

My partner and I wanted a quiet place out of the city where we could bring our dog Sam. This fit the bill perfectly. It is in a more remote area of Malibu but still close enough to groceries etc. It’s a short drive to Leo Carrillo State Beach which is one of the few dog beaches in LA County and it is right across the road from El Pescador beach. Great views to the ocean from the upper and lower decks. Loved the fireplaces and jacuzzi.

Accommodations work very well for us. Proximity to our activities is great and property is very enjoyable for us. We will rent this property again.

Great location, beautiful view, spacious, extremely clean and well stocked. We enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen and eating out on the deck around the fire pit table. We will be back…thank you!

Overall we had a great stay at this home. The place is starting to show its age and wear. We had unusual amounts of rain while there and some of the Living Room windows leaked water, water came in along the header of the Dining Room doors to the front deck, and water also came in along the floor at the Kitchen back doors. The homeowner had plenty of beach towels handy to allow us the to control the water intrusions. However, the view was absolutely awesome and the place was overall clean. The homeowner, after several text messages, had a service person come when we had trouble with one of the ovens and the upstairs water heater. Malibu is an awesome place to visit, and this place was in a perfect location.

My family and I had an Awesome family vacation. This house is wonderful and the property is beautiful. Amazing views and we really enjoyed watching the sunset. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will be back again. I appreciate the owner Tom as he is very helpful!

We had a wonderful family holiday in this spacious and comfortable home with an unbeatable view and location. Arriving to this house after a tumultuous trip through winter storms and hassles was like a breath of fresh air. The upstairs primary suite was perfect —on the opposite end from the other bedrooms and upstairs from the rest of the house, with its own private deck and a view to die for. Two of the downstairs rooms have French doors opening onto the downstairs porch, also with water views. The dining room and living room are very large, with adequate space for all— unlike most vacation rentals that might have beds for your entire party but no room for you to actually be together . In general, the space, view and location could not have been better. There were a couple rough edges— cleanliness of the hot tub (a couple people got rashes), an unevenly equipped kitchen missing some essentials (like oven mitts, a mixing bowl), outdoor furnishings that need replacing. The security cam on the side porch points at the outdoor gathering space and seems to records your every move, presumably with audio, was off-putting. But those things were minor and could easily be remedied. I would happily stay here again and hope to return soon.

This home with beautiful property and view was great for our family during Christmas. Malibu was gorgeous which made for beautiful sunrises in the hot tub early morning. Thank you for making the process of renting so easy.

Wonderful place, spacious and amazing views

This house was perfect for a family Christmas celebration. There were eight of us and the layout and space was great. We especially loved the decks and the views of the ocean. It’s an older home with lots of character and charm. The downside was the state of the kitchen. We cooked a lot and were challenged because the kitchen was not well stocked. For example, there were no measuring spoons, mixing bowls or colander, the non stick pots and pans were very scratched, and there were only a few coffee mugs. The range light was burned out and the fan not working. Fortunately we brought a few of our own pans and kitchen tools and were able to make do. Another issue we had was a vibration noise that occurred in the wall of the master bedroom. We only noticed it when sleeping as it woke us up several times a night. It’s likely related to the heating system as it turned on and off periodically. Despite these issues we had a great stay.

Husband and I have made tradition of a pre-holidays get together with a group of close friends (as opposed to family from Thanksgiving on). We chose the house for this year's meet-up. This home has a spacious and open feel and layout, including lots of green outdoor space and decks. Kitchen had everything we needed. And the ocean view was amazing. The weather was clear but chilly so the fire pit was appreciated.

Just the getaway I needed. Weather is always a roll of the dice in October, but it turned out to be perfect

Fabulous location with all amenities provided for a rich and full vacation !! It allowed our family respite and space away from the buzz of life. It was difficult communicating with property manager however plan on us being back !!!

Beautiful views of the pacific, very close the venue where the wedding was held. Very comfortable, very thing we need.

We stayed at this home for a family birthday getaway, and ranged in age from 4 months to mid 80's. The pictures of the views and the exterior are exactly how you will find it. The house needs some TLC, but it was more than adequate for our needs. We had no wifi, as it could not be fixed by the repairman who was there when we checked in. The property manager did not return my calls regarding this, or on the problems with the hot tub (leaking water on day one and then inoperable on day two). There was obviously still plenty to make this a fabulous vacation, but that was disappointing. Prior to that, he had been easy to contact. Based on the location and size of the house, we would very happily make a return visit.

The view was outstanding that was the best thing about this place. It is old and could certainly use some updates- especially for the amount I paid I was a bit disappointed. It wasn’t very clean- hair in the bathroom, No wifi Tv remote batteries dead Spiders & ants Old and broken things Water faucet on lower deck leaking Doors and windows weather stripping not sealed. I probably won’t stay there again and won’t recommend. Should cost a lot less to rent due to these items I listed.
