The House: Pros: The house is beautiful and spacious. The pictures are completely accurate. Cons: You will be constantly climbing stairs, so this is not the best place for toddlers, handy-capped, or elderly people and we did find several dying cockroaches on the first floor. The Property: Pros: The scenery is beautiful and for the most part the property is private while still being with 20 min of things like golf courses, wineries, restaurants, etc. Cons: There was no trash pickup within our Mon-Sat stay, and the bins filled up quickly. There also needs to be more clear boundaries between what is included in this property and what isn't. Communication: Pros: Vacasa was good about texting me back in a timely manner, and seemed willing to help in any way that they could. Cons: We didn't know until we showed up just how low the lake levels were. The water in front of the house was maybe 2 feet deep. I think that is the downfall of a property being managed by people out-of-state. Overall, I gave this a 4 star rating, because the house really is worth staying in, and I think that most of the cons I listed could be easily remedied. In the end, we really did have a great trip!

Clean property. During our June visit there was no water/river access due to low lake levels. Quite a ways from downtown Austin as well. A quiet retreat and plenty of living and deck space.

Highly recommend the house. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Would stay there again.

We all had such a good time. The house was perfect. Big front porch, delightful hot tub, comfortable beds, great kitchen. Just perfect!!

We enjoyed our stay. Good accommodations. Our group of two 4 person families had fun at the house and on the lake even though the lake level was very low.

We loved sitting on the deck and using the hot tub. It was wonderful!

Quick friend getaway. Nice to have the fireplace indoors and hot tub and chiminea outdoors. Able to cook and have a nice sit down. Plenty of bedrooms.

The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The decks were pleasant to sit on and enjoy the view.

This beautiful home had plenty of space for our family. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the sun rise over the lake/river. Each bedroom had view of the water. The gameroom on the first floor with the foosball table was a big hit. Vacasa customer service was very responsive to our minor request for kitchen towels, delivering them within a couple of hours.

We had a week of cold and rainy weather and the sun was shining bright today as we headed home, but the house was amazing, along with the lake views and our daily visits of birds and deer. Doug was quick to bring us 2 heaters for the bottom level and the house had all the amenities for our family of 9. He shared some interesting information about the house and lake. My only suggestions would be to add a queen size bed in the master bedroom for families with kids, replace the kitchen faucet because the handle was loose, and be more detailed with the amount of stairs leading to the street and down to the lake, since we had my parents who are in their 70's and they couldn't really enjoy the lake and my dad likes to fish. We cooked our full Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything we needed, except a rolling pin, but we figured it out. All in all, we had a fabulous week of cooking, playing several games provided, watching movies and enjoying the views on the porch. I loved that all the rooms had balconies with stunning nature views. Lots of deer on the street as well, but you have to walk up there to see them. Spicewood Winery had the kindest people working there and great wine, Pizzeria Casa Nostra had excellent pizza, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Little Country Diner. On our day of no rain, we enjoyed great hiking at Pace Bend Park and the cutest boutiques in Marble Falls, along with their Christmas trail of lights at a local park. We had a memorable week....thank you Doug for your beautiful home and hospitality.

We stayed at the property for a weekend. Four adults and three teenagers. We had plenty of space to spread out, really enjoyed all of the available showers with bathrooms. Had a nice time in the hot tub and enjoyed hot coffee each morning with the provided Keurig and pods looking out of the water. We saw a deer and lots of birds, it was a really nice location to explore the hill country just west of Austin. We went into Austin one day and the drive was very easy overall a great location and we enjoyed our time here.

This place was great for a quick girls weekend. The house was nicely appointed and very clean. The porch was fantastic for sitting and sipping. The house manager was extremely responsive and very kind.

This house has good views all around. Well appointed and beautifully functional. Master bedroom is something to see. We had our family here and all had a good time for sure. I highly recommend this property.

Stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed being right on the lake. The house is beautiful. We enjoyed the paddle board, Kayak, and Lilly pad. The listing on VRBO says it sleeps 11 Adults but I'd say it sleeps 8 comfortably. The owner was very nice. We would stay here again.

We loved the place and location! Made a lot of good family memories here, super clean home. Would come back, But need to spray inside and out for cockroaches and spiders. Need more linen in house such as blankets and towels…

It's a very nice 3 stories house, the GPS took us through the back of the house so when we arive we couldn't see it only a small storage garage. But once we figured it out that we had to go down on the side. we were amazed at how big this house is. Reminded us of the house in twilight. Lots of windows and trees. It was perfect for our party of 11. We were in town for 4 days, for our nieces state trooper graduation. We also loved the lake and there were enough life jaceveryone for everone. The canoe was a big hit with us. We really enjoyed diving from the dock. 2 things that we did not expect thou, was the outside steps were a little steep. And the neighbors kept taking photos of us. I guess this house has been vacant or something,. maybe the neighbors were surprised to see people there. But it wouldn't stop us from future visits. Best part of this trip ? Drinking coffee on the balcony with my daughters and wife every morning before sunrise. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us.
