Cute little cottage on the beach. Resort area was very well maintained as were the cottages. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to vacation that area.

Hiking near by was nice...but buggy;). A bald eagle alit right on the swing outside our door!!! Very cool! The cottage was clean & comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful few days.

Trying to make a long story short. Cabin was very nice, beds comfortable. Beach was amazing! Pet friendly made this vacation possible. And most importantly my husaband was happy. That means we get to go back again!

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Cozy and beds were comfortable. Beach was amazing and it was nice to have a fire pit on the beach. We also liked the fact of the charcoal grills.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. Everything was very convenient. The view from our cottage and porch was gorgeous. The drive there is very scenic as well. This was our first trip to the Sunrise side and we loved every minute of our relaxing trip.

We loved the proximity to the lake. It was a quiet visit, though I am sure summer gets more traffic. Hidden from view. CAbin #7 has a more modern look and feel to it, we liked that. It was brighter (not the dark pannelling) We would love to come back and will tell others about this place!!

Property was older, as described. More "bare bones" than I anticipated. There were no cupboards in the kitchen and table/chairs were not impressive or comfortable. Same to be said of the couch. Wall space could definitely accommodate a larger screen TV. The overall rental smelled very musty. I've never stayed at a VRBO that didn't stock garbage bags, extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Overall, it was adequate, just a little disappointing. Looking at your listings on line again, I see at least 2 that look nicer that the unit we stayed in. The closeness to the beach was fantastic and that was what we wanted the most.

wonderful beach, never successfully connected to the wifi (but my wife had warned me to stay off my computer so that was OK). Quiet property. Convenient location. Everything worked. The only thing I can think of to make it better is to put more than one ice cube tray in the freezer and the floor was a bit sticky. I would definitely book again on my next trip to Oscoda.

Great place

Had a wonderful experience here, so peaceful. Great lake view, beach frontage and privacy. Each cottage had their own picnic table and grill. Had many outdoor activities, firepit , basketball hoop, and outdoor toys. The heating/cooling system worked very well. Cottage was very cute and clean. The only thing I would suggest in the cottage we stayed in would be a bigger TV and more comfortable living room seating (chair). However, it would not deter me from staying in the future.

Perfect little cottage for a weekend getaway! Aaron was a great host and provided me with everything that I needed for my stay. Beautiful views right from my front door! The town is quaint and there were quite a few options for food/drink within walking distance or a short car trip away. I would definitely return and enjoy another stay at this property :)

AMAZING

AMAZING

My boyfriend and I (and dog Apollo) stayed at this location for a long weekend. Can’t say enough great things! Right on the beach so we enjoyed coffee and sunrise each morning and a bonfire and wine each night. Our dog loved swimming in the lake. Great community feeling with other vacationers. Make sure to bring extra beach towels but there’s a Walmart only about 20 minutes away in case you forget or need anything! 5/5 can’t wait to come back.
