Lots of room for the two of us, and we loved the outside patio area. The beach is a minute's walk from the house. Great location!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in January. It was convenient to lots of restaurants in OB and to major tourist attractions. We took the bus downtown a couple of times and the bus stop is just around the corner. The cottage is clean and has everything we needed.

Our stay here was the beginning of an 8 day road trip north. Very nice!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute little beach bungalow. Yes, it didn't have a dishwasher or washer or dryer and didn't have an air conditioner but the nights were cool enough to keep the house nice and cool at night and all day long. We brought our two pups along who loved the tile floors and we enjoyed streaming movies at night and spent our days at the dog beach walking our two pups who just loved the dog beach! The only suggestion would be to leave a broom and dustpan inside the kitchen step-down area, so we could have swept the sand off the living room floors after we came in from the beach. We will definitely return to this cute little bungalow in the future. Thanks :-)

We loved the cute little bungalow as did our two doxies. We initially only wanted to stay 2 nights but extended our stay twice because we liked the bungalow so much! The only confusing thing was in addition to VRBO we had to go through another La Jolla rental agency ID verification twice for the two extensions and for some reason we were billed 3X for cleaning fees for our 7-day stay and are still awaiting a credit for two of the three cleaning fees as we drove up to La Jolla Holiday rental office and the staff there assured us the two of the three cleaning fees would be removed from our bill as we only extended our stay twice but should only have been billed for one cleaning fee for our entire stay. Very confusing to say the least. Hopefully, this triple billing issue will be resolved by someone working either at VRBO or at La Jolla Holiday Rentals.They did assure me this refund of two additional cleaning fees would be done.Thank you.

Very cute little bungalow within a 15-20 minute walk of the shops and restaurants of Ocean Beach. The patio, although close to neighbors, was peaceful and quiet for an evening nightcap and morning coffee. The only negative was that the bathroom overall was tight and the shower in particular is small. I’m 5’2” and petite, and don’t know how a taller/larger person would fit. That said, if you can tuck your elbows, the shower felt great after a long day walking and at the beach!

Went to see family in OB. Great location, walking distance to the cliffs as well as OB main strip. Had everything we needed - Only complaint is there was no washer/dryer in unit however I think this is common for the area. VRBO listing did NOT mention the W/D, but welcome email from the management company said all units have one. When I inquired they were very quick to respond and recommend spots to wash some clothes. HUGE PLUS is the bed! It has a remote to raise and lower the leg and head areas and the mattress was wonderful. Crisp bedding. We slept very well! We took our two boys and it was safe for them to play in the yard or on the back patio. Large gas grill outside.
