It was great- a couple thing were missing like paper towels etc- but they were very quick to Instacart the items to us.

The house was located in a nice neighborhood very close to the Metro which made seeing the sights in DC and Alexandria easy to get too. The house was large. Everyone had their own bathrooms. A real plus! Better than that everyone had a bed. Hard to find a place for so many adults that don t have bunk beds! The owner quickly answered my text with a call - within minutes. I would definitely stay again if returning with a large group.

The properties is very nice. Local restaurant and bars a near. Walking distance to the mall. The host was very nice and was in constant communication.

Family trip to see the sites Only suggestion would be to have a clothes basket in the basement bedroom. 3 flights is a long ways to carry clothes! Great location to Metro.

This property was in a perfect location for us to have the ability to uber into DC and surrounding areas or walk to a number of places close to the property for any needs we had.

We traveled to DC to see a family member graduate. We wanted a large place to accommodate our whole the family. The location was perfect and slept everyone well. Each bedroom had its own full bath. What a pleasure it was to stay all together and enjoy each others company.

The overall stay was good because the location and size made it easy to accommodate a large group. The biggest challenge was communication with the host or property manager. The initial comms after securing the rental and prior to check-in were good. There was a surprisingly big dip in comms at check-in and during stay. It’s almost a week after the stay and I still haven’t received a response regarding check-in and access. Queries were sent via the VRBO application and using the house guide without a reply. There was no check-in procedures and there was no keys or access code given. The door was simply unlocked. We assumed it was left open to accommodate our arrival and someone would follow up with the necessary details for the 3 night stay. Calls and messages were not returned. We ended up taken unnecessary risk keeping door unlocked with valuables present when leaving property to not impact the weekend agenda. Would rent again, especially if the communication challenges get fixed.

Overall, the property was great with lots of space and very short walk to the Metro. It was winter so didn't mind that there was no yard. The only complaint was the cleanliness. Many things in the kitchen felt a little greasy, the soap dispensers in the bathroom didn't work and were filled with soaps that didn't belong in them and no hand towels. There were clean towels and sheets in the bedrooms. The space was great for 11 of us but it was decorated very sparsely so felt like a hotel instead of a home.

Good location. Playground nearby was a big bonus.

We were in town for my mom’s funeral and rented a few homes for out of town family. This house, with its open main level floor plan was perfect to host a lunch following the service and the owners graciously permitted our gathering. The house was perfect for overnight guests, having a good supply of towels and ample rooms and bathrooms.

Great property for a large group. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The dishes were not always clean and needed to be cleaned before using.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The property was very conveniently located. All of the 15+ guests fit comfortably. It was a beautiful house that was well taken care of and suited our needs well. If I had to give any critique, I would only remark that the water/ice maker did not work and that the showers only produced cold water. For a weekend, this was not a great hindrance. The property owner was quick and responsive with any and all questions. I highly recommend.

The property was perfect for our family reunion. Lots of room, lots of bathrooms and great location. 12 minute car ride to the museums and sights.

The house was very nice. There were a few broken items but when a house is being rented those things can happen. We loved the location and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!

Excellent location and nicely appointed property. They were short on towels and kitchen supplies but management was quick to respond to our request on a holiday weekend. They wanted additional to park in the garage, which was surprising based on the listing. I believe some of these issues have been remedied and would recommend this place for those wanting to visit the capital.

A five night adventure in DC for our group and this home provided enough sleeping space, bathrooms and a place to cook meals. Everyone said they would stay there again if we come back to DC. This place was a winner!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crystal Palace and would definitely consider renting it again for other family gatherings. The home is large, spacious and very comfortable. It’s location on the corner is a little busy but very convenient. The host and their property management team were very lovely to work with and very responsive. We also appreciated how the house was fully stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies! Our family truly had a blast and we were so grateful to spend this quality time together in such a warm and inviting home!
