The Blue House is a perfect property to accomodate 6 adults, we were four so plenty of space and privacy for both couples. All we needed was there and more. I would recommand this property anytime. The host, Tyler, was really helpfull, he helped us find activities from the surrounding (great swamp tour just 25 minutes from the property) Jacques,Lucie, Mario and Patricia

Perfect property for family stay, charming older house in downtown area. Came for family funeral, would definitely come baby for happier visit.

In town for graduation and spent 2 days at the Blue House. Great neighborhood and close to campus. PLENTY of parking. Comfy beds, clean home and picture perfect decor. Back room did have some night brightness issues...when the neighbors came home the security light switched on for about 5m. For the 2nd night we used sleep masks and it was all good. Also, back bathroom may benefit from handrails to assist with getting in & out of tub. Other than that no problems. Highly recommend.

There was a family of siblings staying there. The house was Amazing. Well appointed, very responsive host, comfortable beds and just cute. Location for our event was spot on. Liked the security features and parking as well.

This property is a true taste of Acadiana! The decor and amenities are top notch and fit well with “modern classic” feel of the house. The location is minutes away from some of the best restaurants Lafayette has to offer and the property manager, Tyler, was prompt and accommodating to our Birthday game night celebration. True south Louisiana hospitality. The only issue was that we didn’t reserve it for longer as we could have used another day. Highly recommend you reserving this location if you considering it. You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed two days in the Blue House while attending a wedding. The house was nice and comfortable as described.

The property owner worked with me last minute to book the property. We were in town for a funeral, and another home we had booked had the air conditioning go out. I'm grateful for the help of the property owner. We were able to stay in the house. The amount of time we needed. Everything was clean, it was a great location for where we needed to be.

This property was absolutely stunning! The house has the old time New Orleans feel with all the modern updates and amenities. Everything was clean and in good working order. So much space for our family of 4. The house is older so you can hear noise from the outside (only noticed at night). We turned a sound machine app on to drown it out and that worked perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Came down for a long weekend to visit family. Cute house with a lot of charm. Loved sitting on the front porch swing watching a storm roll through. Very close to all activities. Would absolutely stay again.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Well kept and everything you would need. Owner delivered a great experience for us and was quick to respond on anything. If your in Lafayette looking for a safe, beautiful place to lay your head and enjoy the surroundings this is the place!!!

Plenty of parking space, very clean and beautiful decor in a quaint historic house. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked nice and well equipped. Easy check-in and good location, we walked to downtown and saw the Second Saturday Art happening, which was nice. The old downtown was picturesque with arts and craft vendors and lots of nice restaurants and bars. There is also a bowling bar close to the house.

A nice property, spacious, comfortable and clean. A lot of care has been taken to make it an appealing space with a great TV! It is also a good location but important to know that it is right down the street from a busy bar/night spot. Shades have to be fully pulled at night or your are very exposed to anyone walking or driving by. The most important factor that offsets the positive features of this spot is that there is an attached room that the host rents out separately (it can also be part of the overall rental). We were awakened at 3 am (there is just a door with a 2" gap underneath, separating this room from the rest of the house) by people who made noise until past 5 am. I am not sure if they knew we were right there on the other side of the door? It sounded like they were in the house with us because, in fact, they were! The host was intermittently responsive throughout the process of booking through our stay and never responded when I reached out about this experience. It would have made a difference if we had been forewarned about guests being in this room. So this house is not an "entire place" and if you require/want a lot of privacy take this into consideration.

Tyler's Blue House in Lafayette is a gem! Two friends and I needed a place to stay for a single night in Lafayette and we were very fortunate to find his immaculate home with modern, high-end furnishings in an area which was within walking distance of downtown restaurants and night spots. Tyler was very responsive and accommodating as a host. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and efficient. We were sorry we could only stay one night and would happily stay here again in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!!
