It is a lovely and charming a place, with a wonderful restaurant. If you are looking for a historic place, I can just recommend it. On top of that by far the best value for money in the area.

Great place with lovely old style. I have often visited - and will be coming back again. Good location to arrive relatively quick in Nuremberg surrounding and Exhibition ground. Countryside village.

Be aware there are lots of stairs.

They closed the kitchen partway through our meal. We were not told this and even though the ice cream had been recommended we could not have as the kitchen was closed for the evening. There were 2 menus … the English menu had higher prices!

The hotel is very nice, old-style and romantic. The atmosphere is wonderful.
The location is right next to a busy road, it is right under your window. Since the building is very old, there is absolutely no noise isolation and the traffic noise is loud. Fortunately ear plugs are provided for free in the room.

The rooms are super cozy and comfortable beds! Breakfast offered lot of variety and very fresh bread and muffins, fresh egg etc.

Great old building, very nice beer garden, fine food. Great place for a stop over, not too far away from the A9 autobahn.
No dedicated parking place so you'll just have to find a parking spot in the street. Food was fine, but the timing wasn't: starters and mains were served at the same time; a slight hick-up in the kitchen.
