We had a great stay!! The house was very spacious and well appointed with everything you would need. Very comfortable for a small group, but would also accommodate a large group as well. Highly recommended

Doug’s place was very clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything our group of six needed, including making a birthday dinner while there. We’re sure Doug would have been very responsive if needed, but everything was so well communicated and outlined that there was no need for us to reach out.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The beautiful home was a great base from which we ranged all over the Kenai Peninsula for our daily adventures. Doug was great, easy to communicate with and responsive.

Clean, comfortable perfect place for us to stay

We had a great stay at this cabin and enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of the cruises (land and sea). The fishing equipment was perfect for "flossing" and I was surprised with the tackle available for other fishing. We had our own fly rods to go up stream to Kenai Lake to fish the creeks 45 min. And, I think Kenai Fjords were only an hour and a half drive and worth doing a hike. Our host was available if needed and willing to accomadate, if needed. Surpisingly well equipped cabin. Thank you! PS This is a knit for me, but a grateful one. How often do you rent a condo and the knives couldn't even cut butter. I have to mention how sharp and useful the full set of knives were! Some of you are saying Huh?

The host was very attentive. It was a great place to stay and centrally located for the local fishing spots. Quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place.

The cabin was very clean and well stocked for all our needs while fishing in Alaska. Doug was very attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and the cabin was exactly as listed. The space was great for 4 of us and we will certainly consider staying there again if we come back for another fishing trip.

This property was quiet and secluded It felt like real Alaska to us. The beds are really comfortable after fishing all day The BBQ grill was excellent to use and the chefs kitchen was a joy.

Wonderful weather, dipnetting in Kenai, fun with our daughter and family. Workmanship of house was outstanding. Checkin said 6 adults, but easy accomadations for 8. Easy to check out without stress to return to Fairbanks.

I travel often with my kiddos and almost exclusively use Vrbo for our stays. I have never had a more helpful, accommodating host ever. Doug was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was in a perfect location, close to town but far enough away that I could let my kids explore without worry. The cabin Itself had every amenity imaginable from cookware, to gas grills, even hair dryers and laundry soap. Absolute perfection. 👏👏👏

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Salmon Lodge. Doug communicated throughout the few days prior to arrival, even suggesting local hikes and restaurants. The house was clean and well maintained. We had a fantastic stay.

Perfect layout of this house that accommodated us on our week stay for salmon fishing. Chest freezer was more than big enough to freeze all our fish. Had a minor issue with house but owner was on it and had it taken care of immediately. Great communication with owner and enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely rent this again in the future.

Three older kids with spouses and my wife and I. Would stay here again if I have the chance. Not many places you can put 8 people for the price and location.

Had a couple of days to go fishing after coming off a cruise ship and needed a place to sleep 6 people in 5 beds and picked this property. Very glad I did!! This house was spotless! My wife enjoyed her time while the boys went fishing. High end kitchen appliances (stove/refrigerator) was a nice touch. Grill worked great and the owner is super friendly and supportive. I will be staying here again!

Very nice cabin with plenty of room for 6 adults (3 couples). Very clean. Nice supply of towels and washcloths. Kitchen nicely equipped. All beds comfy. Located in quiet neighborhood- felt like we were in the country. Bedrooms downstairs have light blocking curtains but loft does not - bring sleep mask if light bothers you. Also, it is an open loft and morning conversations woke some in our group. Owner/host was wonderful and very helpful with any questions we had.

My husband, two daughters, parents and I stayed at the Silver Salmon Lodge. We all had a really great time. The location is close to many great fishing spots and guides. Doug was great and easy to communicate with. The lodge was comfortable and had a nice kitchen.

The property owner is very nice and communicative. He responded quickly with lots of information every time we had questions.

Great place to stay for our fishing trip. We mainly fished the Kenai and Russian River, so this cabin was about 40 minutes away. It has everything we needed and if we needed anything Soldotna was a short drive away to get what we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the cabin! Beautiful and clean! The host was amazing and extremely accommodating! Fishing poles at the cabin to use to fish locally and host provided us with information on the updated places to go fish! Highly recommend and would come back to stay anytime!

Great host! Home was just as described. We loved this little town, fishing in the local rivers, and enjoyed short day trips. Great location!
