This is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the Riviera Maya area. George and Carmen were attentive and helpful, even though we all needed Google translate to communicate. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and the house itself is architecturally quite beautiful. The short walk to the the Yalku lagoon for snorkeling was a real plus. Akumal itself is a small pueblo with a few good restaurants on the beach (highly recommend La Buena Vida). Tuium is about 25 minutes south and, unfortunately, no longer the sleepy town it was years ago. But, if you get down there, be sure to stop at Pollo Bronco for some of the best bbq chicken ever. Also, unless you want to use taxis (not recommended due to expense), renting a car is a must.

This home was very beautiful clean and comfortable! So close to the lagoon so you can take advantage of the early morning and evenings to have it all to you yourself s. My teen boy loved the hammocks and huge tv. The music system was great and the hot tub was used daily! Cecilia and jorge were very attentive to any and all needs or questions. The location is just down the road from all the hustle and bustle so id recommend having a car if you want to go to beach or restaurants.

The villa is stunning and exceeded our expectations. It's set in jungle setting away from the main road, with easy access to highway to/from Cancun. The villa is fully equipped and Jorge and Carmen take good care of the place keeping it very clean. This is one of the best villa we have stayed in, and would highly recommend it!

This unique house is more amazing in person. Simply beautiful with a private setting all to enjoy with your family and friends. We decided not to rent a car due to it being our first time to Akumal. Taxi rides in this area are very expensive so just keep that in mind when budgeting your expenses.

This house and location is beautiful. The lagoon is amazing and if yoi wait til 5 pm you will have it to yourself. The staff at the house was awesome and we didn't expect a maid daily but for sure loved having her! Everything is set up for a great experience and I never felt unsafe at the house or anytime during the 9 days we were there. 9 days in Akumal and loved every second of it! Book this house and have a great time!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable, Carmen and Jorge help us and was very convenient. The lagoon and the beach club was excellent and we enjoyed so much the visit of the monkey 😍
