We had a great time in Kihei and the place was perfect for my family. The yard was amazing and we could walk to the beach!

Perfect walking location to all the beaches and amenities in Kihei. House was beyond well stocked and had every item you’d want or need for the beaches. The grounds were great to lay about in and the property overall was in top shape. Will certainly look to book again if we ever travel with another family.

Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for a week. 5 adults and two little ones. The home is very comfortable, nice furniture, blankets, comfy beds, comfy outdoor furniture, well appointed kitchen, and the bikes were so fun too. The outdoor tub was a hit with the kids and the outdoor shower (with warm water!!) was loved by all. Perfect location for this beautiful, secluded private yard located 1/2 block from nice beach, close to groceries, restaurants etc. Tammy was an exceptional host, we had two separate requests that were dealt with very efficiently and with grace- much appreciated. Hope to get back here again as it’s the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in Maui - Recommend 100% if could give more than 5 stars we would. Thanks Tammy:)

This property is everything promised!!! Close to beaches, the property felt like home from day one. Everything in walking distance. As my husband says -Best vacation ever!!!

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this beautiful home. The house has so much character. We are a family of 5 adults and had plenty of room. The yard was a great spot to just hang out and relax after playing at the beach all day. The living room had comfortable furniture for lounging in the evenings too. The location is unbeatable. We walked everywhere! Looking forward to our next stay.

What a great place to spend our first family vacation, and especially at Christmas. The house was very unique making it feel like we were staying in a place that truly felt Hawaiian. The yard was perfect for the grand kids to play in and being so close to the beach made it easy to walk. Having the wagon to haul all the provided beach equipment along with us was great. Yes, we traveled to Maui 8 days after the fires started in Lahaina. Our first option was to cancel our trip because it did not feel right vacationing on Maui in the middle of the disaster. Also the Hawaii government strongly discouraged any unnecessary travel to prevent any further stress on resources. But sad to say, vrbo/host would not release us from their contract. This was disappointing since, Hawaiian Airlines and the car rental companies on Maui had policies in place to allow cancellations due to the situation. At the time of our start 'vacation' date, vrbo had their no refund policy in place. This forced us (3 of the 5) to make the trip or lose our entire payment without using the rental. Extraordinary times require leadership to step up and do the right thing. In this case, vrbo failed. I read that vrbo EVENTUALLY made changes to their long standing no refund policy for this extraordinary situation.
