This home is large for a big group and the game room was nice. But…. Our group consensus was it was not worth the money. There was a lot of weird little things not working- the bathroom fans, jacuzzi tub, etc. the alarm and smoke detectors were defaulting and literally woke up the house every morning early. A couple smoke detectors had to be removed because despite the batteries being changed (we changed them out 3 times) it was chirping. The maintenance lady was very responsive and came to problem solve when we reached out. There was still dog hair and sand/dirt on the stairs and floors from the last people. The house is in a very poor area and feels weird to be in this large house overlooking a dilapidated trailer. The neighbor was actually pan handling in the driveway of the rental for an afternoon. Not a good location….. we did find the tugman eel lake which was nice about 2.5 miles up the road and ventured to the Umpqua jetty but overall would not recommend. I would say 2 stars if it weren’t for the size and newness of the house.

The house is beautiful and comfortable the only problem was the jacuzzi tub that has no hot water , but the stay was easy and just what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving weekend, the house is great and clean. We hoe to stay again some day!

I would stay there again

House was great. Our family had a wonderful time bonding. A few things - Hot tub was not working - we saw pictures on the website and assumed we will have the hot tub The microwave was not working The floors were very sandy when we checked in Hot water was not available in the master bath tub I would have appreciated if I was informed earlier about all these. This was perfect for hitting the dunes and had a large garage to securely store bikes and gear.

Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay here. We had a great time in this house. Everyone enjoyed the games in the game room the most. It was a relaxing stay. Some of the things we didn’t like was the jacuzzi wasn’t working, the garbage can was already half full when we got there, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen area & the floors and couches weren’t fully cleaned. (As there was dog hair all over and we didn’t bring a dog.) Overall the house was great for the 12 of us.

The outside trash cans were already half full when we got there and then overflowing by the 2nd night. There are also ants throughout the house. We had gas cans stolen out of the back of one of our trucks, which Is no fault of the rental service, but we tried to get in touch with the rental people to address the trash and to see if the cameras out front worked to see who stole the cans….. no response even still. Huge house in the middle of Lakeside, OR. Very new and clean and nice layout for family.

My family loved this house. Its location was perfect for our beach vacation.
Slight issues:
1. There is no information about how to work the heaters. They are in every bedroom and there are remote controls in each of them. It took us an hour on the phone to get assistance to get the house heated.
2. The location is not the best. Dogs were barking and people yelling most of the time we were there. The house echos so we could hear everything that was going on.
3. The hot tub is right next to the master bedroom and it was LOUD. I know it does what it does to hear the water, but dang…we had trouble sleeping.
4. Master jacuzzi tub…doesn’t work. No hot water would run into the tub.
5. Alarm system does not work! Was going off every 15-20 seconds saying all windows were broken and doors were open. On the phone speaking with someone, the. On the phone with someone else. Finally bypassed it. Still not a working system.

1. Beautiful house. Well updated kitchen is beautiful, laundry room perfect set-up, bathrooms were lovely.

Super clean, professionally managed and very conveniently located. Perfect getaway, only 5 miles away from a plethora of ATV rental places for dune dashing. The home itself can conveneintly sleep 12 people (we were only 7). Very clean and high quality beds and modern furniture all around the home. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked than any other high-end hotel/inn/suite/AirBnB we've ever stayed in. Checkin/checkout was a breeze.

We're definitely goin back there. Vacasa home it is, for all our future trips.
