The place was a perfect size! Lots of seating and space. Plenty of parking. Great location if you have 4wheel drive and are wanting to be close to Beech Mountain. 4wheel drive is much needed. We sadly brought a vehicle that was not and got stuck trying to leave the place. Our biggest upset was that they only provided 2 towels. With 12 people we had to go buy towels to be able to shower. We also felt like the neighbor across the street was watching us and we could not get majority of the lights downstairs to turn on. However, some of the photos aren’t updated. The kitchen and one of the bathrooms were updated and very cute! Overall, there were some things that we wish went differently, but we still had a great vacation!

This private mountain house has updated kitchen and bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! the slopes are very close. rented all boarding equipment from Fred’s, wonderful location.

In a very good location. House had 2 living areas which gives children a space of their own to watch tv and play. However, housekeeping was not good. Found dirty towels and clothing in washing machine. Canister beside stove with cooking utensils had dead bugs in the bottom. Everything had to be washed before being used. Coffee pot did not work. Had to leave each morning to get coffee. Fireplace on bottom floor did not work. Grill ignitor did not work. Would not have been an issue but flame starter did not work either. Carpet had multiple stains. Extra bedding had stuffing falling out. Advertised for 12 but only had towels for 8 - when reported they did bring extra towels the next morning. I normally pay this amount to stay in resort areas so was expecting much more. Highly disappointed. Not worth the money.

We had plenty of room for our 12, enjoyed fireplaces and fire pit, adequate cooking utensils, great location for skiing and hiking. The home itself is in need of some good upkeep and updating. The bathrooms seem to be updated, but in an haphazard fashion. We had a minor bathroom issue and the water went straight to the basement. When I cleaned up, I found alot of dust on the floor. We never received more than 6 bath towels, even though I asked for more 2 times. We had no toilet paper when we arrived. There were sheets in the washer and dryer when we arrived. There was no notice that this was part of our responsibility. All in all, we had a great time, but were disappointed in the status of the rental home and would not return.
