Just what my wife and I were hoping for. Tranquil and relaxing setting with perfect weather for visits with family. The house is comfortable, well equipped with a beautiful pool. We especially liked all the trees with a wide variety of birds (including a Great Horned Owl that was a nightly visitor).

We had a fun and restful stay with 2 adults, 3 teens, and a 12 year old. All enjoyed the property, it's proximity to great hikes, the clean pool and pool toys, the access to everything we needed for preparing meals, and more. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. We also enjoyed some March Madness on the tv and everyone had a seat! Hosts Skip and Monica were helpful and communicative. We hope this was just our first stay.

Our family of five spent four nights here and enjoyed it immensely. The kids loved the bunk beds, horse themed room and especially the pool/hot tub. I appreciated the well appointed kitchen, grill and fire pit. Plenty of towels for the pool and showering. There were lots of leftover spices, oil, coffee and cleaning supplies. These are usually things we have to buy when going to other VRBOs. It really felt like staying at a home and not just a rental property. There were also games, a cute bar set up area in the living room and lots of seating at the dining table. Great experience and highly recommend!

Everything was perfect ! The home is immaculate and the grounds beautiful...all in all a wonderful stay

We enjoyed our week at the house especially the hot tub. Went to Joshua Tree National Park and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert. Nice quiet neighborhood and plenty of restaurants in the area.

6 of us girls stayed for a trip to hike joshua Tree. It was a perfect location. Clean and had everything we needed! Even yoga mats and free weights. Board Games! We sat in the hot tub every night under the stars. Highly recommend!!

We had a very pleasant stay in this well supplied, comfortable house with a wonderful backyard and neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the many animals we saw on our daily walks. The owners could not have been more professional and helpful. We highly recommend this rental.

My 3 kids (10,8,4) had an incredible time here. The first impression when we walked in is how clean it was! It’s so tastefully decorated and so comfortable. They’ve thought of everything! Pool/backyard is fantastic. We plan to come back many times!

We stayed a week to hike in Joshua Tree. Property was clean, well maintained and owners were excellent at communication. Neighboorhood is quiet and felt very safe and family oriented. The backyard was a hit with the kids due to the pool and firepit. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the spa after hiking while the kids swam. The small fee to heat the pool all week was definitely worth it. The house was well stocked with everything we needed so other than a trip to the grocery store to get food we were set. There some nice restraunts around the area as well for nights we did not want to cook. Highly recommend.

The moment we walked into the house we knew this was a keeper. Everything you need is there, home is stocked with amenities and extras. The backyard is an oasis and very welcoming especially after a day of hiking. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness and a homey feeling this place is it!

Truly a magical place to stay! Unbelievably spotless, comfy beds with luxurious sheets, beautiful interior design & amazing backyard for sure made our stay unforgettable. The kitchen is well-packed and has everything you need to cook. As a person with OCD, those little things like the notes on the switches, on the appliances, and the detailed house guide tell me how much the owner put in effort to ensure our stay is smooth. Skip is super responsive & communicative on the other hand, so surely worry-free on booking this place. No doubt that I would be more than happy to give a 10 if possible out of just 5 stars.

WOW! Where do I begin! From the moment we walked in we were impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The decor was perfect! The pool & spa were amazing. It seemed as though they thought of everything. I loved that the light switches were labeled & great instructions for the hot tub, etc. The neighborhood was quiet & peaceful. Stargazing was the best! We had a great time at this house. We explored Yucca Valley, Pioneer Town, and Joshua Tree National Park. The house is in a nice neighborhood and is quiet and relaxing. Everything you need from the well equipped kitchen to the large private back yard with very nice pool and spa. We appreciate the tips we got from Skip re great places to eat and shops to check out. I’ve always been fascinated by the nighttime sky, but we don’t see very many stars while living in Las Vegas, so I planned a short getaway to the Joshua Tree National Park area to do some sky gazing. I chose this property to stay in for two nights, based on its amenities and the reviews given by other guests. I was not disappointed in my choice. The house is in relatively close proximity to the park. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, barbecue grill, and backyard games were delightful, and we appreciated the fully-fenced yard for our dog. Inside, the accommodations were very comfortable, and the provisions were well thought-out and plentiful. My husband commented as we were watching an NFL football game that he had never sat on such comfortable furniture in a rental house before! The kitchen and bathrooms were also well-stocked. Thank you, Skip and Monica, for sharing this house with us. We had a wonderful time!

This was the perfect getaway for our family. So relaxing and accommodating for all of us. The place is comfortable, we felt right at home. I dont think any of us wanted to leave. Cant wait to go back!

We stayed for a quick weekend visit for the Perseid Meteor shower and had a great time. Skip and Monica are incredibly thoughtful hosts. All details were considered - stocked pantry with what we needed to cook our meals, walking sticks for hiking, binoculars, outdoor / indoor games - the pool and home were immaculate! Such a great find. We’ll stay longer next time.

We had a great time, relaxing in the back yard with pool and jacuzzi, watching the Dodgers and enjoying the surroundings. My dad had a cabin up the canyon by Pioneertown. We bought it in 1960 for $1. Sold it after the lander’s earthquake for $1000 in 1993.

This was the first air bab we have rented and me and my family loved it . It was so cute and clean. Everything you need away from home. the hosts were so nice and very helpfull we will definitely be back and recommend it . The pool was the first main reason why we wanted to stay. It was so clean and relaxing. And just enjoyed everything Thank you so much.

We really appreciated that the property was well stocked with details and items that made it convenient so we could just enjoy ourselves and not worry about running out to get things that we needed for our stay.

This house is wonderful in every way! Neighborhood is safe and well kept, also very quiet. Neighbors are friendly. The pool and yard are amazing. Very large yard with plenty of games and toys. The shelf in the pool was great for my mother to get in and out of the pool (mobility issues) and would be fantastic for young children too. The spa is wonderful at night, very peaceful. The kitchen has all amenities you might need. The living room is very spacious, beds very comfortable (so is the couch). The house is a short distance from the Joshua Tree visitor center and we enjoyed hiking in the park too. Check in and checkout was seamless, hosts very responsive. My family would definitely stay here again. I very much recommend this home, The best place my family has stayed.

Skip and Monica's delightful property's the perfect place for our family to kickback and relax. Both of our sons work in very high charged industries, one being a music educator and session recording artist...the other as a broadcast engineer in TV sports. They were able to relax and enjoy the home and the beauty of the nature surrounding us

We traveled with a 2 year old and 7 month old- this was a perfect place to relax and have proximity to JTNP. We had a great time!

Stayed with 3 friends on an annual guys trip. Had a great overall experience. Loved the home and all of the amenities. It’s an older home but very well kept and we appreciated the details. Would definitely stay there again.
