We had the best time during our stay and it was perfect for our family to wake up to on Christmas morning. We loved the large dinning room table that we were able to all sit around and enjoy meal times and games! The kitchen was beautiful and we even cooked a full Christmas Dinner easily in the space. The living room has large couches that everyone was able to relax, and everything was decorated so cute with Christmas Decor that made Christmas morning so special. The large game room down stairs was a huge hit between all the kids and adults! There was something for everyone, and the kids were never board. Each bedroom was large and slept our large group very comfortably. One highlight was the nice wrap around porch with an amazing view, and the large driveway that the kids could ride their scooters around on. The toilets even had heated toilet seats, which everyone enjoyed! We were very happy with our experience and would love to book again in the future!

This property is just perfect for fun! Lots of sleeping space (comfy beds too!) and a fabulous game room downstairs. The kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks with a double oven and fabulous cooktop! The owners have thought of everything that guests might need - even extra snow boots in the garage, which we needed. The views are spectacular and the almost wrap around deck is perfect! Tho there was too much snow for us to enjoy but it's there! We will definitely be coming back!

It was perfect for our three generation family weekend! Wonderful location! Plenty of room to play and sleep. Game room was great for all ages. Toys much appreciated for littles. We all fit at table and great seating in front room too for our group. Easy and quick drive to snow. We would recommend property and would love to go again in winter or try during summer. I absolutely loved our stay. From the living room that sat us all for family show time, to everything you need in the kitchen…to the house decor Beautiful furniture! Thank you for the Xmas decorations. Made us feel right at home. The awesome,,,awesome game room downstairs. The wrap around deck with breathtaking views. We can’t thank Ken And Peggie enough for opening up their amazing cabin for our family to make such wonderful memories. Every aspect of the cabin is warm and inviting and the Christmas 🎄 decorations made it even more charming. We had 8 adults and 2 children, plenty of room for us all. We woke up to it snowing and an inch of snow on the ground, it was magical. Ken was a very receptive host and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be booking again next year

We had an amazing time, the house is amazing and it has everything you need for great holiday!

Clean, large, fully stocked and an ideal location within a forest but still close to the grocery store or restaurants. It's an easy drive in and out. No snow this time but Ken mentioned that the main roads are all plowed during the snow season, all the way up to the driveway. The driveway is spacious and level. Game room was a hit with the whole family and the beds are extremely comfortable. A great stay and hope to be back. Thanks, Ken and Peggie

Can't recommend enough this incredible house for big groups. We had 10 (8 adults, 2 children) and had plenty of space for everyone. The house has every amenity you could think of from kitchen tools to extra towels/blankets/etc. The large living room is perfect for lounging around, the deck has a spectacular view of the valley, and the game room is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay, and Ken was very responsive to every question we had. Would definitely stay here again!

our once a year trip goes by too quick might have to do 2 weeks next year and this place has it ALL even added a wading pool

This was our second time staying at this property and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful large home with lots of room for everyone. The amazing downstairs game room kept everyone busy and the stunning deck views were enjoyed by all. The house is very well stocked and the owners have thought of everything. The actual town is only a few minutes away and Pine Crest Lake is a short drive. We will be booking again for next summer!!

We enjoyed our stay at , what we now call the moose lodge. The house was listed exactly how it is. The game room was a HUGE hit. We played down there daily. Not far from town for dining or groceries. The view from the deck is amazing. We will be back for sure in the winter. Another fun trip for the memory book! Owner was super responsive too. Thanks Ken!

This property was very clean and comfortable. Part of our group was off doing things meaning we were close to National and State Parks, while part of the group just hung out. The house has beautiful views and was a peaceful place to chill. The game room was great especially for our grandkids ages 6-14. There was regular communication with the owners which was good. If we head back to the area in the future, we will definitely rent this property again. It is a great price for what you get.

Great location! We were looking for a place that was not too far from the lakes and at the same time would be a short drive to the mountains for some snow activity. With a large group, we were looking for a place which was amidst nature and at the same time had amenities for a comfortable stay. The Wilderness lodge was the right choice! Everything about the lodge was more than what we had envisioned. We could see the tasteful decor and detail in everything that was part of the lodge. The family loved the kitchen area, dining, sit-outs and most importantly the game-room. I have never seen a more elaborate collection of board games and puzzles as we did at the wilderness lodge. Thank you Ken! We will be back again.

Excellent welcome, manager communication, and property. Without power for 5 days—needed to purchase gallons of gas each day to keep generator going—feel this should be reimbursed.

Stayed with family, 3rd year staying here. We love it! Game room is always a lot of fun! Great house and great location! Went up to Leland snowplay and had an amazing time sledding. We will be back next year!

This cabin was amazing! We loved the spacious kitchen and living room. The master bedroom was huge! Water pressure was fabulous and no shortage of hot water in the shower. We spent hours hanging out on the awesome deck, soaking up the sun, laughing, and sharing good times with our friends. The cabin feels so secluded and private, yet it is super close to shopping and dining. The game room has everything you need for fun! I wish we could have stayed longer. May I kindly recommend: labeling the light switches in the master bath, providing instructions on how to use the fireplaces, and some chairs for the fire pit? Hope to stay again next year!!!

Lots of space for the 10 of us. A two mile drive to the town of Twain Harte with a few good restaurants and cute shops. The dining/living room is surrounded by large windows with beautiful views of the trees.
