We had a very enjoyable time at Kevin's place over February break. House located at a beautiful spot on the water and in close proximity to the town center. House is well appointed and stocked. While the weather was cold, it was nice to have a warm fireplace (and extra well-functioning space heaters) to augment the heating system in the house. Kevin was very easy to communicate with during the trip. Would definitely recommend for large families/multiple families vacationing together. Thanks!

Amazing Place! I booked Kevin's Home for a weekend get away for a surprise 60th birthday present with family traveling from Ireland to add to the surprise! We all had our own spacious bedrooms with super comfortable king or queen beds, en suite bathrooms with showers and jet tubs and private balcony's, all overlooking that majestic ocean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators. The open plan living spaces and grand deck built over the ocean had spectacular views of the "Love" lighthouse. A brand new beautiful gas fireplace kept the home warm and cozy. I would recommend staying at this beautiful, comfortable, sensational retreat any time of the year! Kevin was gracious and just a phone call away if we needed him. The house suited our requirements well and overall we were very, very satisfied. The kitchen, while extremely adequate, is certainly not up to "chef" standards and while there were hundreds of plates, there was a lack of sufficient cutlery, a kettle, a. corkscrew and microwave dishes with lids. It was not at all apparent what to do with our recycling. That said, we look forward to re-booking for next Christmas!

I come from a large family that are located all across the US. We all met for a wedding and Thanksgiving. This place was Fantastic. The owner had everything to start the stay.pods of coffee, dishwasher liquid to soap in the bathrooms. This house was well equipped to handle a crowd. I highly recommend it for your next vacation. The house was perfect for our family group. Each had their own room with bathroom. Lots of dishes etc. Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators was a bonus. Close to the town/restaurants. We highly recommend this house to others

Rented this house for our wedding. The house is stunning! Fantastic layout for hosting an after wedding party or party on the deck the following day. Cannot reccommend this place enough. Check in and out was very easy. 10 out of 10, will stay again.

What a wonderful vacation we had. Magnificent views. We started our vacation with hurricane Lee and the sky’s and waves were amazing. Every room had a wonderful view. We had everything we needed. 4 generations and everyone enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend for a family vacation. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms so you can have your privacy.

This was our second year staying in Scituate and again we loved it! Our kids are in their twenties, so it’s great to get 4 days with them. The house is perfect to get together but also have private time when you want.

We enjoyed our stay despite rain and fog all week, after our first night and day. Very disappointed that we couldn’t spend more time on the fabulous deck. The setting over the water was perfect. Never saw Kevin but he cared for us by email. The big mystery was, where’s the hot tub? Nice week away from home. Fun to see the “1 4 3” flashed from the lighthouse. Thanks for sharing.

We were so pleased with this lovely space. There are ample seating areas and spaces to enjoy separately or together to eat, play board games, read, work, talk, or relax. It was comfortable and stunningly beautiful overlooking the ocean.

I rented this house for all my friends and I to stay in when I got married. It was absolutely perfect! Each bedroom had its own bathroom and balcony. We took all of our pictures before the ceremony in the master bedroom on the top floor and on the deck off the living room overlooking the water. Kevin let us know about a couple repairs that needed to be taken care of, which we appreciated. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay close to the water with a bigger group!

Kevin was prompt in responding to our requests. There was plenty of room for the 14 of us in the house. A welcome booklet or binder with all the things we needed to know about the house would have been better than sticky notes scattered around the house. The location was beautiful but too far out of Boston for those who want to spend most of the time there simply because of the horrendous traffic. Wish we had known about the ferry from Boston to Higham. That would have saved us a lot of time. Kevin had the house well stocked with all the basic needs.

My family stayed for 3 nights leading up to my daughters wedding. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone. The decks were very relaxing. On Friday we hosted the bridal party and some out of town guests for a catered BBQ. Saturday the bride and her bridesmaids got ready at the house. The pictures were gorgeous!! Kevin was very easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend this property.

Th property is in a great location with amazing views. Convenience of a bathroom in every bedroom with decks and views of the ocean. A huge deck overlooking the ocean to accommodate a large group. The general store down the street serves great breakfast sandwiches, lunch and pizza. Paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes are a plus. The house is stocked with everything you need. Bring beacht towels as you do not want to use the nice white bath towels at the beach. The hosts are amazing!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for the group we had. Everyone had their own rooms, bathroom, refrigerator, and deck. The master deck was very large with plenty of room. I have no complaints with this property. Kevin was responsive with anything we needed.

The house was perfect for our extended family and my daughter’s gal pals for a pre-wedding get together! The home is immaculate and very comfortable with many different gathering/seating areas inside and out. The kitchen was well supplied - paper goods, staples, dishes for inside and out. The deck is an amazing spot for sunset and storm watching- we had both! Each of the bedrooms has a spectacular ocean view. It might be the cleanest home we have ever rented! There was a generous supply of linens that all appeared to be new. Jane was lovely and welcoming. She and Kevin were both very responsive. We will look for another opportunity to return! This is a must stay location!

We rented this house for our wedding party to stay in and it was such a great weekend! Everyone had enough space, we all never left the deck! Highly recommend!

Kevin was super responsive and ready to provide my group with all the information we needed to kick my wedding weekend off! Each room had their own bathroom which was very helpful for everyone getting dressed and ready. Truly lovely home.

The house was just as advertised. It was an older home than I realized but really beautifully appointed and kept. It was also the perfect distance to the rail so we could go into Boston anytime we wanted with ease. There were two things I will mention that were a little surprising. The first one is something completely out of the owners control but the house next door was evidently being prepared for large remodel and when we arrived and I guess either the foreman or owner was loudly screaming obscenities for about two minutes solid at a worker who was screaming them back at him. I'm not some kind of prude about language but you know it was a bit much when I can hear it verbatim in my house. I thought you might want to know in case you want to address it with them if you are going to have renters in the future. I guess the other issue is not really in the owners control either but the empty lot beside the house was a bit messy and unkempt. Please know I am just mentioning these things for the benefit of the owner's knowledge, we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay! Springbreak for our extended family. We decided to do something different this year and this was perfect for extended family of 12 to hangout in lovely Scituate and close enough to explore historic Boston and catch a Red Sox game. Kevin was so helpful with logistic questions and his property was well stocked with so many essentials and a great selection of board games! Would definitely return!

Beautiful beach house, great location, true to pictures, lots of room and privacy if you want it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas weekend. Kevin was great, making sure we had everything we needed!

Great property! Perfect location, amazing view - ideal for our multi-generational family weekend. We visited in winter and part of our stay was during a mini nor'easter - we couldn't have felt safer while having a front-row view of the impressive stormy seascape. A+ host. If you're considering this property for any reason, it will meet and surpass your expectations.

The hosts were friendly and very responsive. Jane personally greeted us and gave us a tour. She was fantastic. Kevin was equally welcoming via e mail and very accommodating. The property was better than advertised- very clean and stocked with everything you would need. Beds were comfortable and ocean view was amazing. Each room was unique in its own way. Kitchen was expansive. Look out tower on the roof was impressive. Highly recommend this property. It’s very clear that the owners take great pride in the property and ensuring guests get the best experience.

We were attending a Family wedding in nearby Cohasset and this was a great spot for all of us to stay. All rooms were clean and cozy and the views on front deck were exceptional. This was originally a B&B so all bedrooms had en suite bathroom which was great and the beds themselves were very comfortable and plush. Kitchen was well stocked with any necessary equipment for make meals etc. Owner was very friendly and even allowed me to come back 2 days later to retrieve a forgotten item. I recommend this to any group looking for a great location and ample space to relax in.

I chose this property to rent for the weekend to propose to my girlfriend. I also surprised her with a wedding, and we were married two hours later. The property comfortably accommodated 30 of our close friends and family. There is an additional area on the third floor where the hairdresser, makeup artist, and seamstress all setup comfortably. Across from this room there is an expansive master suite with massive walk in closet. This area was setup as a bridal suite where my wife spent time trying on all her dresses, and enjoyed getting ready with her best friends and support staff. We had a two piece acoustic band setup inside, on the first level. There was plenty of room for everyone to mix and mingle, grab a drink, & sit to eat. We had 7 people spend the night, and they all had their own bedroom to pick from. This property is everything and more than you could need for any occasion. The views are amazing. A lasting impression was made on everyone who came through the doors that night.

Our group of 12 rented Kevin’s property for a long weekend where we engage in a full-out murder mystery event. This was the perfect spot — big enough for everyone to be comfortable while in the same room, right on the water, in a quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of parking, wonderful accommodations (like a fully stocked kitchen of appliances, silverware, dinnerware, etc) and beautiful views. There are little bug friends that were around the house during our stay (flies & spiders), but they didn’t bother us much, and tend to be prevalent in beach areas anyway. Kevin was a wonderful host who was supportive of one of our guests who had a medical accommodation need, and our group was absolutely in love with the house. Even if you don’t plan on hosting a full murder mystery dinner here, you won’t be disappointed by the beautiful setting and decor!
