Right in the middle of an iconic wine-making village and close to the free car park, but on a quiet street so nice and peaceful yet close to all amenities. The best balance between unspoiled beauty and modern conveniences and luxuries! The host is extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was extremely clean, modernly decorated (wonderful shower room ensuite) and equipped whilst retaining it's original rustic features such as the staircase and roof beams, adding to the ambiance of the property. There was also ample space in the communal dining area, that we and the other guests had also utilised to store our bicycles overnight.

As alluded to in the strengths above, the property is only an extremely short walk from the car park. The street is very narrow also, hence it may not be ideal for visitors with mobility issues as there are also a couple of steep steps to the door as well as stairs to the bedrooms once inside. Also, the space within the property is used excellently, but it isn't possible not to hear the other guests moving around, which may not suit guests who require silence.

Quaint little place right in the middle of the village. Really close to parking and other amenities. Very clean and decorated to a high standard. Host was very friendly.

Access to the property and to the room we stayed in on the second floor was via some really steep stairs - this needs to be highlighted before booking. Bed was hard, wouldn’t have been so bad if we had pillows to help but we each only had one cushion sized - very soft pillow.

Wonderful location, excellent value, hosts were very communicative and attentive. Impeccably clean. Perfect for a young couple, especially if having breakfast / dinner at a BnB is attractive.

The room itself was a bit small and did not muffle sound well - if someone was having a conversation in the breakfast area, or walking on the main stairs, it could be heard in the bedroom. The bedroom door also had a fair amount of light bleed from the hallway at night.

Communication. Never saw anyone. The entrance consisted of several very steep steps. The same going to the bedroom. The side of against a wall. There was an option for breakfast, but no one appeared. V

the stairs were a little dangerous. The height of the ceiling in bedroom was low, my husband kept banging his head. The floor was very creaky/noisy.

Location was good and close to centre. The chez has been stylishly renovated by a very nice couple, who live next door. Breakfast was delivered daily through a connecting door. Parking was available in a nearby free public car park.

Steps into the property, and stairs inside the house are not for people with mobility issues. One side of the double bed was up against the window, so couldn’t get out without disturbing partner.

I thought the refurbishment was of a poor standard but with the overall vision & thought to decor being really effective.

Good location, easy parking, comfortable bed& good shower.

Stairs were very steep, we couldn’t get our cases up & would be difficult for elderly or people with poor mobility. It was a bit odd not to have a sink in living area.

cute little room that has been self renovated by the owners. The breakfast was very generous considering there was only 2 of us.
