We do a group family trip with 2-3 other families for the time after Christmas and through New Year's Eve. We've found the Outer Banks to be the perfect spot! Plenty of places are open while still providing a relaxing week. Kitchen: Kitchen is very well stocked! We ate at the house for about 65% of our meals and the only thing missing was a large pitcher so we bought one and left it at the house. Bedrooms: Each bedroom on the top two floors has an en suite! The beds are firm. Gameroom: The "little" kids loved the game room! Great space for them to be able to watch what they want, play video games, etc. Hottub: The kids loved the hot tub! Location: Amazing location! The public access is across the street. So many things to do, shops, and restaurants close by. The house is on Highway 12 so you will hear traffic from the road. This was not a big deal since we were there in the winter with less traffic. Coastal Carolina Vacations: We booked through VRBO who then booked through Coastal Carolina Vacations and they were AMAZING! We didn't have any problems but their communication was supurb! I received text notifications before, during, and after our stay that were very helpful (trash days, door codes, wifi password, etc). Overall, the house was great! Some areas are more updated than others so I guess the owners are updating as they have time between renters. We would definitely rent this house again!
