Good location, friendly owners, we were little bit late for the latest check in time and they were still waiting for us there, so thank you, I appreciate it.

Ometepe house is a five minute walk from the ferry and is close to restaurants and services. Staff was friendly and helpful!! It was quiet and situated in a safe area. They were making improvements to the facilities while I was there which make it nicer.

The location is ok and not too far from the town or main port

Our room was infested with huge flying ants, coming out of the roof, walls and bathroom door. The staff tried their best to help but all they could do was spray very strong smelling bug spray which filled our room for the night. Also, as a result the floor of our room was covered in dead ants. We asked the next day for the room to be cleaned and the owner obliged but upon returning that evening it was clear our room wasn't clean as there were still dead ants and dirt on the floor. The same thing happened the second night, except there were ants in our BED and crawling on us. We asked to move to another room which kind of helped but we had to be up at 6am the next day so our sleep was completely broken and we were so tired. Staff tried to help us but overall this place needs some serious work

The staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful, it is walking distance from the ferry and the bars and restaurant.

Friendly staff, nice garden to hangout, ac works, decent shower, good comfy bed, near the port ferry, only atm of the island is closeby.

No restaurant at the house for lazydays.
