Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Met by Gary on arrival who made sure we knew where everything was. Great studio apartment for our overnight stay. Very clean and well equipped. Excellent location for access to beach, and tavernas.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Gary Apartments in Assos, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the breathtaking view of the sea right from my apartment. The location could not be more perfect, with the sea just steps away, providing a serene and calming atmosphere. However, what truly made my stay memorable was the kindness and availability of Gary and his wife. They greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel at home right away. Throughout my stay, they were always available to answer any questions I had and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with everything I needed to feel at home. It was clear that Gary and his wife take great pride in maintaining the property, and it showed in every aspect of the apartment. Assos is a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing break. The calm and tranquil atmosphere was exactly what I needed to recharge and unwind. I felt truly at peace during my stay at Gary Apartments, and I cannot wait to return in the future. Amazing location,the view off the balcony was very hard to leave. Gary and Anastasia made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us .very honest, generous people.my kids felt like they were staying with their own yiaya/grandma and pappou/grandfather

The view!!! The most spectacular 180 degree ocean view with steps right from the apartment into the warm ocean!

The kitchenette is basically in the main bedroom, so it’s fine for making morning coffee but not really Accomodation where you would be able to cook your own meals. The apartment is small for 4 people, but the big veranda and incredible view more then makes up for it

Perfect location with stunning views. Large, comfortable and clean apartment with huge sun terrace. Gary and Anastasia were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Gary helped us with our luggage and Anastasia cooked us sausage rolls and cheese pasties.

This is really an amazing and stunning location, one of the best we had during our many travels. You will get the best sea view you will probably ever get. Wonderful and super relaxed hosts (types like a bit of my hippy generation :-)). Asos is a beautiful and super nice authentic tiny village to stay.

Wonderful view over the sea and the island. A few steps down the appartment, nice spot to dive and snorkle into clear water. The hosts were so nice and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay !

The apartment is in a beautiful location, I gave Gary our eta and he was outside waiting when we arrived and helped us get our bags out then took us to his parking space which was so useful as the public car park was busy. Gary gave a comprehensive tour of the apartment and we were so pleased to find out there were steps to the beautiful sea and a little ladder so we could snorkel and swim directly under the apartment. Gary and his wife Anastasia were so kind and thoughtful, there was tea, coffee, sugar and bathroom products (body wash, shampoo, hand wash & plentiful toilet rolls!). Gary provided plenty of bottled drinking water for the duration of our stay. The beds were nice and comfortable and so were the pillows with extra bedding supplied if needed. The location is fantastic with a harbour with tavernas, bakery, mini markets and gift shops. The balcony had a beautiful view and was peaceful and quiet. We had a problem with our hire car and Gary came and jump started it for us which was so kind. They were also super helpful when we were leaving and were friendly and super hosts for the whole time we stayed. Thanks so much Gary and Anastasia - you are wonderful hosts!!

super location and spotless

Location is amazing. Balcony and view is exceptional. Gary and Anastasia were so welcoming and the perfect owners/hosts. it was just what we needed for our short 2 day stay in Assos.

A hidden gem. such a beautiful location. absolutely breathtaking. loved the apartment, it was beautiful and very clean. It had absolutely everything we needed. restaurants and shops within 2 min walk. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable The private swimming cove was literally paradise. We will be back

Gary and Anastasia were wonderful hosts, and the apartments were exactly what we'd hoped. There were nine people in our travel party, so we booked three apartments with a sea view to the south. The charming village of Asos is the draw, of course, and Gary's place has the benefit of being one flight of stairs from the picturesque harbor and beach, but with almost private access to a pristine swimming cove on the other side. The kids woke up every morning to jump off cliffs into the Ionian sea, and we could watch them from our terrace (apartments on the first and second floor had balconies, and the ground floor had a large terrace). We were a little hesitant to book without more reviews, but are so glad we did.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. Travelers should appreciate that Asos is an old Greek village at the end of a steep mountain road. It feels like staying at a relative's house, which is what we wanted, not a luxury hotel. As with many places in Greece, you can't flush paper down the toilet because the town's plumbing is too narrow. Parking is down the street from the apartment, but easy enough to find and only a three-minute walk from the property. Accessibility could definitely be an issue for some.

Amazing views, close to the restaurants and small town. It was very peaceful and nestled among the beach and woods.
