We like the 3 separate sleeping areas we loved the location the value was good

Wanted to open sliding door handle was half off, no screen on slider so no fresh air circulation. Needs a deep cleaning I actually cleaned a few walls . Supplies like dish soap were inferior quality and sparse especially when cleaning items was necessary. Smell of fireplace smoke was strong. Trash outside was spread everywhere I picked it up a rake and shovel with extra trash bags would helpful and some gloves. The bathtub caulking is not the correct type for water it’s discolored and moldy .The property managers aren’t following up on the up keep necessary. I know because I’m a property manager and Realtor.

The house is very spacious and clean. Close to the lake

The cabin was cute and the perfect size for our family (5). There were more beds than we could use. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything you could possibly need. There were lots of dishes, pots, pans, and knives. The main bathroom has a soaking tub. There were lots of bath towels. We did not run out during our week stay. We enjoyed the ping pong table on the lower deck. There is a dart board but you’ll need to bring your own darts. There is satellite TV but we hate commercials so we watched movies. There is a nice selection of movies throughout the house. The decks were great. You can see a little bit of the lake and lots of trees. I was pleasantly surprised by how close the houses were yet there was still privacy. The BBQ grill worked great and is quite large. There was a nice modern couch in the main living area with recliners and built in wireless chargers. (The pictures on the website are outdated.) Also the internet worked better than I had hoped it would. (Yes I’m that parent who doesn’t think kids need electronic babysitters.)

There are only a few minor things I did not like. First, the kitchen is very small. There is No dishwasher. This was frustrating as the expectations/instructions for the property after booking states there is a dishwasher. Furthermore, there was dishwasher soap provided in the kitchen. (That definitely screwed with my head for a minute.) I’d recommend bringing disposable plates, silverware, etc. unless you enjoy washing dishes in a tiny kitchen. The next thing I’d like to mention is all the noise from the boats or people cutting lumber with a chainsaw. It made sitting outside not as enjoyable, however, It stayed very quiet in the house. (Impressively quiet). The evenings were mostly quiet, except for the ongoing laughter at one of the other houses but hey, nothing wrong with having fun. Mosquitos were definitely an issue. This has nothing to do with the property as everywhere we went there were mosquitoes. Bring your bug spray and keep the doors closed. The last thing is the trash situation. We arrived at the property Sunday evening and the previous tenets trash was left outside the back door and the animals had spread it all over the yard. Picking up someone else’s trash was definitely not what I wanted to do on vacation but the trash cans were supposed to be at the curb Monday morning early so what else do you do. We kept our trash inside the house to prevent the animals from getting into it which was not the most exciting thing to do for the entire stay. A bear proof trash can or shed would have been better.
