We had an amazing stay. It was clean, it was comfortable close to everything. We want to make it a family tradition every year

It was the perfect little place to stay with friends. It was to close to everywhere we went. It’s spacious and cozy at the same time. I loved this place.

Very clean

The house was awesome and had plenty more space than one would think. It was conveniently located and perfect for a weekend with friends!

Property yard needs a manicure. The house itself was very nice, liked all the bedrooms. AC worked beautifully if you were on the first floor. One bedroom up stairs didn't have AC.Only bad thing about the house was the trim work kept falling off or wasn't even nailed on. Need better t paper. I would stay again.

Old house but well stocked

Water smelled really bad. Fridge was a little small for 8 people. And we all wished the hot tub was with everything else out front. Other than that the place was really nice and close 2 everything.

This is a nice little house very close to Logan. It would benefit from a few exterior repairs, but the interior is very nice. There are three bedrooms on the main floor and one on the second floor. The second floor has another room with two futons in it. There are two bathrooms (both with showers only) on the main floor. The second floor has a full bathroom with a large tub and a tiny shower. There were plenty of towels, blankets and sheets for our group! We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen appeared to be fully furnished. There is an unfurnished, screened in area off of the room with the two futons. There is a hot tub in the back, a fire pit and seating area are located in the front. There is a small, decorative pond on the property that has a resident bullfrog!

Great property would stay again.

I was very pleasantly surprised on how beautiful the house was decorated how spacious the house was laid out. We had everything we needed to have a great week. The house is close to town for supplies and restaurants but far enough away for privacy. I would definitely return.

The house was in good condition for the most part.Could use some maintenance. The water has a foul smell, windows in the front are cracked, the lawn needed mowing and the batteries in the tv remotes were all dead and leaking.

The house had everything we needed as a launching place for our exploration of the beautiful Hocking Hills area. Close to Logan for grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

Very nice would do again

Overall we loved the home. It had everything we needed and the property was beautiful with the garden in full bloom. The frogs were a pleasant surprise for our kids and they loved going outside to count them. It isn't as close to the lake as you might think from the photos, but a quick drive away and you can see the lake from the house. Close to everything.

Great place to stay and see Wayne National Forest and Hocking Hills State Park.

Overall it was a great property. Very spacious house. Hot tub situation is a little deceiving. We thought it would be a covered area and was not. The working hot tub was at the side of the house uncovered. Nothing bad to say or complain about. Would love to stay there again. Great location. Thank you

The house itself was really nice but it was too close to the road and people. The location was nice not to close to town but close enough if we needed to go to store for necessities all in all it was all right.

Loved the location: Felt like we were in the country while being close to Walmart and Kroger, and close to all the caves. The fridge struggled to keep up with cooling. The floors could have been cleaner, as evidenced later by dirty white socks. There is poison ivy on the property, so we kept a close eye on the children. The floor plan is great in terms of offering privacy. Three full bathrooms is a bonus when traveling with a group. Kitchen lay out was excellent for prep/serving/clean up for a group. We enjoyed the pond/frogs, hot tub, fire pit.

Location was perfect. Landscape had beautiful flowers. A bird watcher's paradise. Rental was amazingly spacious. Would definitely book again.

Great trip for a girls weekend! Conveniently located.

Lots of room. Very clean. Problem with tv. Couldnt watch for our family night quality time we couldnt get tv to play cable...outside railing is dangerous its very weak and wobbly...very close to lake...needs more patio furniture to sit outside. Needs to get ride of broken hot tub make more sitting space and keep back hot tub overall very happy with ourstay stay

We had a great experience here at Logan retreat, would Definately come back.

Large, well-equipped, very clean home. The host let us know we also have access to the amenities at Hilltop resort which include a jumping pillow (giant trampoline) and free mini-golf, just a short walk up the hill. Between that and the hot tub, our kids loved it. The Hocking Hills location offered many short (0.5-3.0 mi) hikes, perfect for young kids.

Served the purpose

This is a spacious property in a great location to visit Hocking Hills trails. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores in the town of Logan as well. The living room is very cozy with two reclining couches. We appreciated having plenty of towels and bedding to accommodate our party of 6. We found everything needed to prepare meals and and the large kitchen table was great for dining and playing games. Our only issue was that the TVs did not have any available programming and the WiFi data was maxed upon arrival. The owner did acquire more data at our request and indicated that a better WiFi service is forthcoming. Overall we had a great stay!

The house was nice but could have been cleaned better and could use some updating. We also wanted an awning over the hot tub but the one they showed isn’t the one they had us use. Good stay overall.

Wonderful time stay there.

Good house and convenient location next to Logan and the Hocking Hills. The wood burning stove was a highlight, and we all enjoyed our stay.

Great location close to many area attractions and US 33. Plenty of space for people to congregate all together, or break into groups throughout the home/yard. Furniture was fairly comfortable and there were some extra seasonal decorations spread around. Hot water heater worked well even when many had to take showers at common times, but as others have mentioned, very sulphuric - definitely bring drinking water. Plenty of towels provided for the hot tub & showers. Fridge was not very cold, and not the right size for a home this size(larger than a dorm, but too small for 10 people who brought food to prepare all weekend) so we had to keep beverages in a separate cooler outside. Wifi was down, but a hotspot was provided and management responded quickly. The regular oven was broken, but there was a toaster oven.

Everything was perfect

There were 10 of us in our family long weekend time here, including 4 kids ages 6-12. We were able to make use of all of the possible sleeping areas and appreciated the 4 bedrooms and extra open spaces upstairs, as well as the 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay and the convenient location to Logan and the various hiking areas. A couple notes to others coming with 10 or more would be to know that the refrigerator is somewhat limiting for a 4-day stay with it being a relatively small standard size. (There is obvious cut-out space for a large frig.) The outdoor patio/grill/hot tub area only allows meal seating for 4, which was also limiting with 10 of us. So, mostly adults ate inside and kids outside. Worked well with summer weather for kids, but would have been nice to all eat outdoors together. No DVD player for movies we brought as have had signal issues when staying in area other years, and we had trouble with the internet service working well enough to show movies without use of linking our own cell service. Not a deal breaker, just info for other groups. We would go back again as it was a good time for all! Love going to Hocking Hills and sharing time together!
