Thanks for a clean and comfy place. Beds and pillows were really soft, clean and had what we needed for a family stay. Even a beach cart which was handy to transport kids toys etc to the beach. Is a 3-4 minute walk to the closest beach which was private and that was nice. Host was quick to respond . Would recommend. Only thing was it doesn’t have its own coffee or shampoo there but not a bud deal as we had ours along.

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in! Comfortable, charming and bright. Fully stocked, comfy beds, well kept, convenient location. Walk to the beach, Popponesset Inn and Popponesset marketplace. The marketplace has a convenience store, breakfast place, and a few small shops. The Popponesset Inn has a nice restaurant with ocean views. Ultimate relaxation! We enjoyed our walks through the woodsy walking path and on the beach. We will definitely come back!

Delightful week in Mashpee with unexpectedly nice weather for May. You are able to see the ocean from the dining area and private beach access is a short walk away (but does require a large flight of stairs down to water).

Perfect place, just as advertised. Clean and quaint with all the conveniences. Great size for someone traveling alone or a couple. Would come back.

It was fantastic. The beauty of poponesset can’t be beat. I’ve been renting at Poponesset off and on since my parents introduced us to Poponesset many years ago. It was the nicest rental I’ve stayed at yet. Just wish the ground screw wasn’t working with blowers and gas trimmers for 2 of the days but I understand they probably don’t work on weekends. It was a fabulous stay and hated to leave.

This cottage was the perfect beach rental for a family of four. It was impeccably clean, with modern finishes and nice coastal decor. Great location within walking distance to private beach and a marketplace with shops and restaurants. This place is a hidden gem.

The cottage was perfect for me and my two adult daughters. It was exactly as it appears in the pictures and very well stocked. The only thing to note is that the downstairs bathroom is a powder room, not a full bath.
We loved the Maushop Village community and the proximity of this cottage to the beach! I would strongly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

We enjoyed our stay in this small home condo. The condo was much better in person than the photos suggested. The room with the bunk beds also has a twin bed, which was fabulous! The only complaint I have was the shower curtain. It was moldy and grossed me out (easy fix for future guests). The private beach was amazing!!!!

The cottage was very nicely decorated and very clean. The owner’s response was terrific. I only had one issue and that was online, under amenities, it suggested 2 bathrooms with showers and only one bathroom had a shower. This was a bummer esp because we were traveling with 3 teenage boys.

Communication with property owner was great before we arrived (did not need anything while there). We have stayed in a few different houses in the area, definitely one of our favorites.

Stayed in the place for a wedding over the weekend. Check in was seamless and place + neighborhood + beach were all great. Would recommend!

This is our 2nd trip to Mashpee and this property was absolutely perfect! The home is exactly as the pictures show but so much cuter in person. This was perfect for myself and husband but would be great for a couple with children as well. The host Scott was so awesome and allowed us to check in earlier which helped us out since we got in so early. We will be visiting again and hope this little cottage is available for us again..

My wife and I stayed in the Cape Cod area at the beginning of October. The community has a quaint New England feel. The condo was beautiful and was a few short steps to a fence that overlooked the beach. This was a wonderful experience.

The condo was very cozy and nicely decorated. Mr. Murray was great with responding to my emails when I had any questions. The neighbors were so friendly and great with making suggestions on where to go and what to see. It was just a beautiful area! I would definitely return

The Maushop Village community is quiet, private, family friendly, and right on the water. The house was beautiful and included every amenity you could think of. Having the Popponesset Marketplace so close by was great given the different shops, restaurants, mini golf, ice cream etc. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and hope to come back in the future.

Only mistake was not taking the unit closest to the water

This is a beautiful, clean, recently updated 2 bedroom unit - steps to a private beach and a quaint shopping area (ice cream, shops, pizza, mini golf, restaurants). Well done with everything you need - even a Keurig with a full supply of Dunkin' Donuts K cups. Only minor issues were that the unit had not been cleaned at check in time (3PM), and it is 1 1/2 not 2 baths. The owner was quick to get the cleaners there when I texted him on arrival. We will gladly come back again.

June getaway
The area was fantastic and the beach is private with very few people at any time. The weather was amazing as well. Rest and relaxation were my objective and it was obtained!!
