Overall our stay was nice. The complex is clean and safe. Our host was incredibly attentive. The house is nice, well maintained and comfortable. We had 7 total and the club is militant about the 6 guest policy. They wouldn’t allow us to pay for our youngest if he had run into the pool earlier, they forced us to pay double for an adult. Kind of annoying but it wasn’t expensive to do so. There are two large pools. The top one seems to be less cared for. The clubhouse food is good. There were some minor issues with the house: dishwasher didn’t work, kitchen doesn’t have any measuring cups or spoons, severe towel/rag shortage in the kitchen, our toilet seat was broken when we arrived. Nothing too critical. The biggest thing I’d warn anyone of is that a disco is just on the other side of the wall of the clubhouse. On Saturday night the music is so loud it’s like someone is standing right outside the bedroom window with a stereo at full volume. The lights from the disco hit right into the windows of this house. The shades do very little to stop it from coming in. The lights illuminate the entire room. Even with white noise machines going and earplugs in we could clearly hear the music. It doesn’t stop until 3am. So don’t plan on sleeping if you’re staying on a Saturday. The quiet time policy of the complex is irrelevant.

We stayed here with four adults and two preschoolers. The house has an excellent layout and amount of space. Comfortable beds. The private pool was a blast for the kids the minute we arrived! The beach club pools are incredible and the beach club restaurant was great for brunch/lunch while having a pool day. Security was excellent. Easy drive to Sayulita for a day trip. Drive to Puerto Vallarta for a day trip is also easy but leave EARLY (traffic). Our friends got massages at the spa which they really enjoyed. Tips: Linens are sparse (one bath towel per person). There are also beach towels for the private pool. There is a laundry room. Consider bringing washcloths and maybe even extra kitchen towels. There is a lot of construction going on post-pandemic. We were without water for a few hours on three mornings. Bring earplugs/white noise. There were some loud parties and security did not enforce the 10 PM quiet hours. Needs improvement: Lock on the sliding door in the master bedroom is broken. Dishwasher did not work. Master bath shower did not get hot water and master bath tub handle is broken. Wifi was out from Sunday to Thursday which was a problem as we do not have cell service in Mexico and you need email/WhatsApp to communicate with host. We were lucky to find the key in the open lockbox as we were not given info on how to find the key before we arrived and couldn't call the host since the Wifi was out.
