I stay in Hilo about 6 times a year for work and this is my new go-to rental. Location is excellent, safe and cozy. Beautiful surroundings and view. Most stays I've had in Hilo included these little tiny termite looking things and there were none to be found here. The sounds of the tropics at night were a dream for good sleep. Comfortable bed. Sink being outside of the shower room took a little getting use to but was fine. Host was very sweet! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

I was not in Hilo for fun vacation purposes - it was actually quite a stressful time - but this vrbo made everything a LOT better. Beautiful, clean, quiet, air conditioned, great internet, cozy bed, a fantastic shower, and in range for doordash and instacart. Plus the property itself is gorgeously maintained and very relaxing to stroll and explore. Can't recommend it enough and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hannah and her husband were fabulous hosts and very attentive to our needs. They provided information on things to see and do, places to eat, and even gave suggestions for additional places to look for an additional night as theirs was already booked up. We forgot our drinking cups and she sent a picture to us as we were just down the road to remind us we had forgotten them. They took excellent care of us and I will definitely stay with them again when I return. Very clean, in a lovely location, and only 3 miles from the Hilo airport. Hannah was a great host! The room was ready early so we could check-in and get in out of the rain. It was raining almost non-stop during our visit, so we were unable to enjoy the gardens although we wanted to. Very comfortable room.

A great getaway, secluded and peaceful. Wonderful hosts and can’t wait to visit Hilo again soon. We will recommended to all of our friends and family. Way better to stay at this property than any of the hotels in the Hilo area.

The property was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is so peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. You feel like you are staying in the middle of nowhere even though you are in the busy city of Hilo. We stayed at two other locations on the Big Island and this cozy location was by far our favorite.

The host/hostess were extremely kind and helpful!

Perfect for our stay.

This beautiful house was located on a very secluded Reeds island just a few minute's drive from Hilo town. We enjoy our time by looking at the green out of the windows with the sound of the stream. The linen and towels were very fresh and crisp which is hard to keep in their climate, the room was spotless. It didn't have a kitchen but had a big sink, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. In the common area, there were plates, knives, and tensile so enough for us to prepare light breakfast and Pupu. The road leading you to the house is almost private so absolutely no noise of traffic, which was rare in Hilo town. The host was very sweet and easy to communicate with, we highly recommend it.

Located in a lush island neighborhood, but close to activities in Hilo town this was perfect for us.
