This was the perfect stay for me and my family. It had all the amenities we needed for a great relaxing week on the lake!

We had a great time. Wonderful home. A lot of swimming, fishing and visiting.

I highly recommend John & Kelly’s lake house for a relaxed family getaway. Our family of 4 adults and one dog spent a delightful week here. Plenty of parking for our cars (we came from 3 different states), the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, glasses, mugs, pots & pans we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Great outdoor grill. Nice fire pit and wood provided for evening bonfire. When not visiting the local wineries and breweries (close to many), we enjoyed kayaking and relaxing on the deck; having the heater to use on cool days was a nice bonus. The stairs to the third floor were steep for my son’s senior black lab but he was fine on the lower levels and used the gentle slope steps (not on dock) into the lake for his daily swim. Having gates blocking access to street & lake took away any worries of keeping him safe outside.

Great house for multi generational family members plus dogs. Perfect master suite, with full bath, on level with kitchen/dining, and just steps to lake. Upstairs, there’s a living room and half bath and the top level includes two bedrooms and another full bath. Easy to be together and everyone can also have their own space. Very dog friendly!

The house is GREAT!!! It has everything you would want and more!! It even had plenty of parking. My questions to Kelly before we arrived were quickly and completely answered. I would book this house again in a minute! I can't say enough about how wonderful everything was!!

Great place to stay with pets- very clean and a million dollar view right on the water . Yard is fenced for pets and has ample space for them to run. 5 min from Penn Yan.

This is easily the best place we’ve ever stayed through VRBO. The cottage was spacious with many gathering areas, super clean, supplied with everything a renter could need, and the decor was perfect for a vacation feel. Of course the water view was the perfect final touch! We will hope to return soon.

5 adults stayed here this past weekend and the place was everything we expected and more. The layout allowed for everyone to have their own space with the master bedroom on main floor, living room on second floor and bedrooms on the upper floor. Outside space was spacious and deck furniture was comfortable. We used the fireplace every night since it was quite chilly and it was nice to have firewood provided for us. Had everything you needed in the kitchen for preparing our meals and we’re grateful for the bottle of wine offered when we checked in. Beds were very comfortable. Didn’t get to utilize pull out couches however was glad there was the option. The street was very quiet for walks each morning. Convenient location just outside of town - lots of options for restaurants and wineries. Thanks to Kelly for letting us enjoy your home!
