We had a wonderful time, house was nice and loved seeing the cows out back in the morning.

3 guys stayed two nights while kayak fishing different stretches of rivers in and around Eminence. The house is extremely clean and sits off a quiet and secluded county road. We wanted for nothing and certainly will return for future trips. As listed, the house could sleep 2 couple and another couple if they took twin beds. Lots of supplies and could not ask for more.

We had a great float the first day but rained out the next.. but had a great day anyway watching movies and playing games. We cooked both days and appreciated the stocked kitchen with everything we needed, I.e. pots/pans. It feels very homey!

Third year in a row we have been here to stay. There isn’t a nicer setup. Big place. Lots of outdoor space. House is clean and in great shape. It’s secluded, yet not far from town, river, springs, float trips. Each year the stay is more enjoyable.

This place was perfectly located for a kayak adventure on several rivers. The owner went beyond the norm having all the things you need. Very quiet, peaceful and would recommend to anyone — thank you again George for having us

Checking in was so easy. The property was comfy and everyone had their own space if needed but there was also space to have all hang out. It was a bit rainy when we stayed, but with the garage space with game it kept the teen happy. They played ping pong, darts and corn hole.
We did get to fish and swim on the Jack's Fork river. Plus vist Alley Springs old mill which had a interesting history.
We would definitely stay again when coming to this area.

Comfortable retreat for a reunion with friends or family. Quiet setting in the country with screened-in porch, fire pit, pole barn. Convenient access to paddle different sections of Ozark Scenic Riverways. Well stocked for a short term rental.

We love everything about this rental! Plenty to do right on the property. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice and clean and fully stocked with amenities. We would recommend this to anyone looking to explore the Eminence area. Within a half hour of everything

The house was lovely. Very roomy and well stocked. Favorite part of the house was the screened in porch. We spent a lot of time out there relaxing, talking and playing cards. I used to drive through Eminence a lot when I was younger, but never spent any time there. It’s a wonderful area. We especially loved seeing the wild horses and Alley Spring!

My sons and I were here for a managed deer hunt at Peck Ranch. The house was great, well stocked, like coming home every night. Highly recommended.

Quaint and comfortable . My sister had a stroke 4 years ago , before her illness was a frequent visitor to Eminence, The home was perfect as there were accommodation's for her . She stated it best "" it a slice of heaven "

this place was so peaceful the stream was awesome we went sight seeing so much to see around here didn't have time to see it all.the place was clean and beds were comfy thats not the case in most places! we enjoyed ourselves and plan to return.

The Shawnee Creek Hideaway was excellent. Property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Our family had a blast over Labor Day weekend. Communication with George was awesome. Had to contact him before our trip. Would definitely return. Thanks George for letting stay at your place! Windys rentals is great too!

this is a quiet place that isn't in town but close enough to make a quick trip very spacious and clean with lots of fun things to enjoy!

We just love this location and the activities in the pole barn are a major plus!
The ONLY downside on this trip was the outside trash was already full so we had to put trash in pole barn so animals could not get to it. Other than that...love, love, love!

A very quiet location and well appointed house, lots of extras like the games in the garage and the amenities in the kitchen. Close to Eminence but away from it all. George was very responsive and helpful, we hope to be back soon!!

We found Shawnee Creek Hideaway to be the perfect choice for our stay. It was centrally located near all the springs we visited and convenient to both the Jacks Forks and Current Rivers for tubing, kayaking, and fishing. Our teenage grandsons enjoyed the barn with the ping pong table and wading in the creek on the property. Another favorite spot for our grandsons was relaxing on the screened in porch.

I hope we can stay here every time! This was so nice to have a “home” to come back to after floating.
We usually go grab a bite to eat but we cooked both nights and the kitchen and grill were perfect for that.

Went really well. They had anything you may have forgotten and just asked that you replace what you use. We spent a lot of time out and about floating, swimming and hiking but it was a wonderful place to come back too. Lots of extras like the fire pit, games in the house and barn and a beautiful stream.

Extremely pleased with our visit at Shawnee Creek, the house was immaculate and the property was private and scenic. Loved hanging out on the front porch. Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house, had everything you could ask for. Thanks for a great getaway!

Home was super clean. Better stocked than any place we have stayed. Loved the covered front porch and the comfortable furnitue. Loved the comfortable bed and large tv. We enjoyed listening to rain on the roof! Loved the seclusion even tho so close to highway. My husband loves birds . He always packs some food only to find George was stocked with hummer feeder, nird fred and kittie feed! We had no problems so did not have to contact George. I am sure he would have readily answered. Will definitely be back. Good restaurants, nice, helpful people. Thanks!

We had such an enjoyable time! The home was comfortable and more spacious than you could tell by the photos. It is an excellent location for visiting the many beautiful sites of the Ozark National Scenic Rivers.
On a rainy day we enjoyed the games in the garage, grilled dinner, and watched a movie. Everything was relaxing. We highly recommend and will be happy to stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem. Super close to everything but very private. Love sitting by the fire pit listening to the creek. Anniversary trip with friends. Will definitely be back.

We were there to float the Current river and this was a nice secluded spot. Very clean and will definitely stay again! The barn was a very cool bonus! It was filled with a ping pong table, dart board, and corn hole!

It was will stocked with essential items, clean and super cute. I can’t think of anything they need to do or change. It was a fantastic experience.
