Loved that the primary bedroom was alone on the third floor, which was very private. Great communication from the owner. Easy access to get in the house, the resort, and out in town.

We absolutely loved our stay. But yes we did have 3 older people in their 70s and the stairs were many but we were able to rearrange baths and other activities based on floor level.

Would definitely rent again

Stayed with family a few days over Spring Break. House is very nice, spacious and clean. Neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Great views! We were happy to have a grill and fire pit. Older kids enjoyed jacuzzi :) Would stay there again!

Only thing was I wished there were TVs in the bedrooms.

We recently stayed here with our family of 5 and 2 small dogs to go snowboarding/tubing at Massanutten. The house was very nice and close proximity to Massanutten. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after a day of boarding. Decorated very cute and cozy. My only recommendation would be is that if you are traveling with little kids to bring a baby gate as the steps going to the lower level are right by the front door. The owners communicated very well and made sure we had all the information needed to make our stay great. Would stay here again.

Great property, great location, great hosts- would book again!

We enjoyed a weekend in this sweet retreat with our three boys (ages 10-16). Excellent communication with the host from booking through check-out made the whole process seamless. The house is tucked in a quiet mountain neighborhood close to all that Massanutten has to offer, and Harrisonburg is a short (15-ish minutes) drive away. The driveway is a steep decline down to the garage and house. It did not present any issues for us, but I'd imagine things could get interesting if there was ice/snow cover, so just something to be aware of if staying during wintery weather. As other guests mentioned, the bedrooms are split between the bottom and top level, with living area and kitchen on the middle/main level. There are a lot of stairs. Not an issue for our family of runners, but would have been a deal breaker if we'd brought my elderly dad along. Tons of space to spread out, well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens. Foosball and hot tub were a hit with all when we had some down time!

Michael was an excellent host! The checking process was seamless, his communication was great. The house exceeded my expectations- it is extremely clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and pots/ pans. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was the cherry on top! 10/10 would stay here again!

A wonderful home to share. Everyone was able to relax, have fun, and catch up with each other. Our trip to the Lavender Farm was such a nice visit. Don't miss it. As elderly folks, the steps were a bit of a chore. Make sure you can handle steps!

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone! It had everything we needed in the kitchen for our meals. The hot tub was a bonus after hiking!! Michael was a pleasure to work with. We hope to make it back to the area and hope that this house is available when we do.

We enjoyed our stay. Convenient to many activities. Property was as advertised. Owner responsive with questions. Few suggestions:: master shower head not moveable, so challenging for short people. Kitchen needs a few items:: pizza cutter, salad plates(we like small plates for the kids). Overall, very pleased and would stay here again.

The home was perfect for our family gathering! Great location to access the national park, clean and spacious for everyone to relax and was well stocked. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Me and my family stayed at this property and it was and all around great experience! Literally had to drag my family out when it was time to leave. More than enough room, clean, and a great location to the Massanutten Resort and water park!

First of all I would like to thank Michael who’s very prompt in responding and going extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible. House is very clean, big and within close proximity to lots of activities. I will surely recommend this to anyone who’s traveling with friends and family including infants. They have good sized bedrooms and TV in all levels to entertain kids of all ages. Thank you again Michael!!!

Even though I read the review and looked at photos, this place was HUGE! So many rooms and beds downstairs and one giant bedroom upstairs. Hot tub was ready to go, a BBQ on the balcony and a kitchen with everything we needed. We only had 3 people but could have housed 8 easily...and the price was still better than any others available in the area!

This is the second time this house has been rented. If the next group of seniors choose Massanutten we will be staying here again. We had no problems getting in touch with the owners over questions.

Great stay... very clean, short drive to slopes, waterpark and ice skating...... easy drive to get to house....only thing I would suggest is bring pans to cook on if you plan on cooking alot

It’s a three story, so if you have small children (like the owner states) please take your own gate. It was very clean. I stayed in the main bed upstairs, it was very comfortable. Overall, very nice house…we felt at home.

The property was so nice! It was very spacious and enough room for 10 adults. The appliances and electronics were modern and well kept. The house was honestly great and my group really enjoyed the trip. The host has great communication and he’s there if you need any help while you’re there he will answer. I would definitely recommend!!!
