What an AMAZING view!!! Comfy space with plenty of seating. Fully stocked kitchen and all essential kitchen appliances; toaster, mixer, coffee grinder, and instant kettle. Close walk to the beach. Friendly neighbors and pet. Steps to the restaurant with super personable staff. Minutes from an exceptionally stocked grocery store and great little pizza place. Absolutely loved it and would stay again!

Great, clean property. walking distance to everything the town has to offer. The view out the front deck is beautiful- sunrise and sunset. Great little place to stay in Trinidad! Host was great to communicate with and made the check in/check out process easy.

Only thing was cat hair gave me the worst allergies

Trinidad is a tiny, beautiful community and Bouy Bell was a perfect place to stay. The unit was quiet, clean and well furnished, with a cozy little balcony and views of the harbor, Trinidad Head peninsula and just enough space to stand and watch the sunset together. If we're ever back in Trinidad, we'd be very happy to stay here again.

This was an amazing area to stay in and the condo was perfect, the views from the deck were out of this world and the local beach was magical. This property is right next door to a lovely quaint restaurant too. If I ever happen to be back, which I’d love to, this is where I’d be staying! Don’t hesitate to book, adventure awaits!

We visit friends in Trinidad every year and found this property this year. Great location in the heart of town yet very quiet. 1/2 a block to the bench overlook above the bay, but you have your own amazing view from your deck. The configuration is a little odd as you are in a quad which is multifamily living, so you have long term residents down stairs in both units and a 2nd home owner across from you on the upper story. Lower level tenants are very very kind, but you are right on top of them and share the yard which was no issue for us, just need to be aware. Our pugs loved the Frenchie below, he was adorable. only issues we had was the place smelled badly of wet dog when we arrived, but cleared it out by opening doors for a couple of hours, and the queen bed. The bed needs to be replaced IMO. We call these taco beds, where the middle is sagged and you and your partner tend to fall into that whole. It has a ton of transference so we did not sleep well the entire stay, but that is us. I am a light sleeper and my wife moves a lot. An upgraded mattress would make all the difference and give this one a full 5 stars as everything else was great. They even have fresh coffee beans and a grinder which was a nice touch. If you have dogs, this is a great option in Trinidad.

We have stayed at this property previously. The view is spectacular and the location is convenient. We noticed that some very nice updates have been done to the home. The bathroom has had a complete remodel which is a great improvement. The unit was also much cleaner than the last time we were there.

Beautiful views from the balcony, great location. The hosts were fast to respond to my questions. Would definitely go back again.

Perfect spot in Trinidad! Beautiful view with nearby beach and hiking. Has everything you need with easy access to restaurants/shops/gas station and close to Redwood National Park. Cannot recommend this property enough!

Loved it!

This was a comfortable place, with great views. The village of Trinidad is charming, friendly, and surrounded by beaches and woods to explore. The manager needs a better list at the condo with instructions on the heater, location of the washer/dryer. But the manager was VERY responsive.

We really enjoyed the location the sweet neighbors the view and the entire place, especially liked that there was a real coffee maker! Thank you

We loved our stay. The views were incredible. The large kitchen windows made even the rainy moments pleasant. The home and kitchen were well appointed and there was plenty of space for 4 of us to spread out.

Found this place when I was looking for a spot near the Redwoods - so glad I picked Trinidad! This spot is located right off the bay where you can take a short walk down to the beach - my dog loved it. Right next door is an amazing spot for any meal - lots of Dungeness crab! They also have a cute gift shop I got a great mug from a local artist. There is also an Art co-op and winery on the same corner - say hi to Haley at Moonstone winery! Redwood trailheads are only a few miles away and there is a lot to check out in nearby Arcata and McKinleyville - lots of breweries and wineries! Don’t be fooled by the low key vibe - I had some of my best meals staying this way. The place was clean and well maintained with minimal noise coming from the tenants below. The host was very responsive when the power went out briefly and it was only a blip. I will be back!

Visit Redwoods, beaches and shops. Had a wonderful time exploring the area.

The location of this property was beautiful. We could watch the sunrise’ sunset from our kitchen table. The town had restaurants, gas station, museums & gift shops. The hike in Trinidad Head was perfect for everyone in the group.

We love this place! I believe it was the fifth time we stayed at Buey Bell. I almost hate to brag how great the apartment and town is in order to keep it our "secret". We love the remodel and will return soon.

We loved this upstairs apartment with balcony in a friendly quadplex. If you can, take advantage of having the restaurant next door plus the wine tasting, art center and excellent local market. The beaches and hikes nearby are wonderful. We really enjoyed watching the crabbing boats come and go.

I love this town and visit annually. This was my first time at buoy bell and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Great location and ocean views. It's a small home but our family of four had no issues with the amenities. Book it!

This place was so convenient. Everything is within walking distance and the view was drop dead gorgeous. We were there for a week. Good place for a dog as it has a nice front yard. Chris, the property manager was very attentive and let us know when the place was ready which was before check in time and when some critter got into the garbage he was there the same day cleaning it up and securing the can. The only reason why I give this 4 stars is that if you are looking for total peace and quiet you won’t get it here as it is a 4plex and the walls/floors are not soundproof. The tenants are excellent however. Very kind, helpful and considerate but you will hear a piano being played during the day and a baby cry at times. The tenants were very quiet at night but there is street noise in the middle of the night. Might have something to do with delivery truck bringing stuff to restaurants. Remember you are right in the middle of town by the road that takes you to the beach and island. Great value and we would consider staying again.

We loved our stay. Be advised, you are directly above two residents. They are kind and welcoming. I felt like I had to tiptoe around though. I’d stay again.
