Location to front of staithes. Contact with host about directions and things to do and recommendations. Free parking at top carpark was a bonus. Cottage was very clean and comfy and had all home from home facilities. ideal position for walks in either direction.

The cottage was beautiful. Roomy, comfortable, clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed (though I couldnt find a washing machine?) . Views from the top floor overlooking the bay is stunning and can easily sit watching it for ages.

This is of course no fault of the cottage and the nature of the village but parking is a good 10mins walk away. Okay on a good day but when windy and rainy it can't be much fun. However, owner was really helpful and pointed out a place to park which avoided the charges (and of course the conmen which run the top car park). So, i cannot complain and of course its just the nature of the village.

Lovely traditional accommodation in beautiful Staithes.

A super place to stay, it has all the facilities you need. We had a relaxing time. Make sure you're good with step and stairs, Staithes is good for your thigh and calve muscles.
