We loved the location and the pool.

Love the view and the dock for our kayaks. Beautiful location with spacious rooms. Needs critical repairs to basics, like screened porch and bottomless BBQ grill. We will return with hopes that owner will take care of this unusually lovely home.

So we loved being on the bay, the view from the decks are glorious both morning and especially at sunset. Thank you to the owners for having one working kayak, the second could use some love. We loved the way the house was set up with the first floor like an apartment with access to the outside. And our adult children (4 couples) all loved the main floor which had two bedrooms on either side with a shared bath and lots of extra beds for when the grandchildren come. The main room was great as well with lots of space to move around. We liked the carport, which gave us the opportunity to sit outside out of the sun and the pool was great. What we didn't like was no umbrellas at the pool - so no shade. Coming for a week from Colorado we were not going to purchase umbrellas. Also, the kitchen, as I am sure you have heard before, is a nightmare. Whoever set it up needs a lesson in organization. Also way too many dishes in the cupboards, and no pantry. No place to store your food so it was always sitting out. I think that is it!

We loved the location, kayaks and pool! The layout worked for us and four adult children and four teen grandchildren. We had plenty of together space and could also spread out. And the sunsets!!

We stayed a week in this dog friendly house and had a wonderful time...I was contacted on the trip there and notified that the cleaners were running late and would probably still be in the house when we arrived...we arrived at 530pm and the cleaners had not even arrived yet...we had to leave and waste time till they cleaned but it was very clean when we came back..the next morning I tried to make coffee and the pot was cracked and leaking..a keurig was available but we had not brought kcups...also the front yard was littered with dog excrement that is supposed to be picked up by guests...I contacted Vascasa about these two issues but never received a response...I did not want to be charged for damages...also ants were running wild in the kitchen and destroyed some of our food before we noticed them...the TV's were not working and I called the help number on the TV screen..The cable guy was dispatched along with a Vacasa maintenance person..the Vacasa person was less than friendly and told me several times that I did not follow proper procedure by calling COX myself...but after getting by these first bumps in the road , the week was wonderful and we enjoyed the location, our own pool, the kayaks, the beach access, fishing from our own dock, the local seafood restaurants and the quiet surroundings with lots of wildlife....
