Villa Almana is located above the city. It can be reached quite quickly from the city by car or taxi. We took the footpath in the evening, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the historical center . The way back is certainly not for everyone, but on holiday you should be able to find the time and desire for a longer walk. Of our two evenings there, we were once lucky enough to find a taxi in Cernobbio. Going uphill at 90 km/h is not for the faint-hearted, but an unforgettable experience. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained. Anastasia, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The choice at breakfast is great, everything is fresh and deliciously prepared. And the swimming pool with the view from there is a dream. Our rooms were quiet, you can sleep there undisturbed.

Great place, brand new and stunning.

Everything was incredible. Only thing to be mindful of is a car is helpful as the accommodation is up a very steep hill and buses/taxis are limited.

Cleanliness

The access to the villa is difficult (difficult to reach). + there is no 24 hours reception.

The views were exceptional. We arrived ahead of check-in and the owner Anastasia was able to accommodate and have our room ready early. Breakfasts were always delicious and we got some recommendations for places to eat in the evenings. We loved the poolside also. To round off our visit, Anastasia was extremely accommodating and aided us on the way home too. A large thank you to all at the Villa Almana!

The staff and Anastasia were incredibly helpful. They were more than accommodating to our needs and helped us so much while we stayed at Villa Almana. The villa itself is beautiful, the views from the pool are spectacular and we couldn’t recommend this stay enough! 10/10 in every area.

We can't quite put into words how amazing our stay at Villa Almana was. The views are breathtaking, and the property is gorgeous, with amazing style. Our room was fantastic (we stayed in the Junior Suite), beautifully decorated and such a comfy bed. And of course the views from the balcony! Anastasia is a wonderful host, very communicative and helpful (she managed to organise dinner reservations for us last minute). There are so many great, thoughtful touches throughout the property to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We didn't have a car and got the bus (C28) from outside the Olde England Pub (you buy the bus tickets from them). In the morning we walked back to Cernobbio following the river and this took about 30 minutes and was an easy walk (we had backpacks only). Anastasia has created a beautiful property and experience, and we hope to come back one day soon!

Excellent hosts, Good location. nice little restaurant nearby run by a family. excellent food Location is convenient enough to explore the more touristy spots.

This was an incredible boutique hotel with the most stunning views. Clean, modern and a wonderful attentive staff. The only challenge is the drive up so be wary if you did rent a car as it is a really tricky road to get up and down from but once you arrive the view makes it worth it.
