We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home. It had all the amenities u could ask for. It was clean and we enjoyed having the all bedrooms on the same level. Unobstructed views of the Doran beach and beyond. Our family had a lovely time here !

Fantastic visit, perfect loacation for Beach walks, Tidal Pool experience, and easy to get around Bodega Bay and the area. (If they don't have a catering event, try Huria's pizza and small plates.)

We had a great time! The house was very clean, and well maintained. It had everything we could possibly need. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms, hot tub, and kitchen. The garage had beach chairs and towels/blankets for us to use. The open floor plan of the kitchen and living room was exactly what we were looking for so we could all enjoy each other while we cooked and ate our meals. Plenty of seating around the table and bar area. We also loved the deck- spending each morning out there! Plenty of seating on the deck too. Margaret was amazing. We have rented many homes in BB, and she is by far the best! It was so nice to speak with the owner (Margaret) before our trip, and have her contact number in case of any questions while we were there. When we arrived, we discovered she left out homemade jam, a bottle of bubbly, and some local saltwater taffy. Such a nice personal touch. The walk to the beach was so close, and we walked there a couple times a day. We plan to make the trip an annual one, and we definitely hope to rent this home from Margaret again! We are still on the hunt for another home that is close to this one, as the second home we rented on the same weekend through a different agency was not as well maintained.

We wanted to spoil my mom for her 60th birthday and this was the place to do it! We LOVED staying in Bodega Bay, and this house was FABULOUS!! Margaret was super helpful and left a bottle of champagne and other treats for us. The drive to other parts of Sonoma wasn’t bad either. Overall, it was a 10/10 trip, and Margaret’s place made the trip all the more enjoyable!

This property is excellent. Well-designed floor plan, ample common areas, large bedrooms and baths, and fully equipped kitchen in terms of high end appliances and kitchen equipment. The neighborhood is very nice and there are views of the bay from most of the rooms.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Home is cozy and has a beautiful view of Doran Beach.

Our family of 5 loved our stay at this beautiful home in Bodega Bay. Margaret was kind, prompt in her responses, and very accommodating. The home was clean, comfortable, and had so much to offer. We loved that the entire living area is all on one floor with beautiful ocean views from nearly every bedroom. The home is the most well stocked home I have ever stayed in for a VRBO! From the kitchen to the bathrooms, and all of the incredible games and kids toys - it was truly incredible. We will absolutely be back. Thank you so much, Margaret!

What a beautiful home! We have stayed at so many homes in Bodega Bay over the years ~ this is without a doubt our new favorite! The views are even more magical in person! The ocean and golf course views are stunning! We spent 5 days here and still didn’t want to leave. Margaret, our host, accommodated our every request and was delightful to work with. She left us welcoming champagne, toffee and jam ~ which was so very thoughtful. The house was so wonderfully equipped with linens, kitchen items, beach towels and everything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to stay in this home again soon!

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's and this ranks at the top. Very clean, comfortable with every amenity possible. The view of Bodega Bay is amazing as well. The hosts are also very helpful and communicative. Will be back for sure!!

This home has stunning views, it's well appointed and well stocked. We were welcomed with champagne and chocolates and our host Margaret was generous and attentive to our needs on our last day when a major storm blew in. We loved walking down to the beach and returning to sunset views and the cozy fireplace. Oh, and the bed pillows were amazing. Thanks for the wonderfu stay!

The home, the location and Margaret as the host was all top-tier. There were plenty of amenities at the home that made our stay easy and special. My husband and I had a few days on our own and we had clients to the home for a 2-day Business Retreat. It was a perfect home and the beach was a great component to the retreat! We will stay at the home again for sure!

Five adult family members stayed at this wonderful house, which was located just around the corner from my home. They couldn’t say enough about the gorgeous kitchen, terrific bathrooms, great views and convenient location.

Brought my mother who isn’t very mobile to the coast to sit and enjoy the coast from a lap of luxury at the Heron house. Great layout. We all had our very own bathrooms (newly remodeled as well). The kitchen is great, but we chose to eat out the two nights we stayed. Towels were Uber soft. Hot tub with a star showing! Fireplace in the common room! Brought bikes and stored them safely in the garage. Great 3-day trip. Well managed. Would definitely stay again next trip to Bodega.

Has everything you would need, kitchen fully stocked, bathroom well equipped with things you might have forgotten, hot tub was great and the views to die for! Golfed all 3 days! Life is good!

We loved our stay at this lovely home! Very kid friendly, and beautiful views out every window. Just a short walk or drive to the beach! The home was also stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend!

We really needed a worry-free, cool and comfortable spot for a few days. Boy did we ever find that spot! The reservation and follow-up communication for us to locate and access the house was terrific. And the house is great. Clean, plenty of space for all of us (3 adults, 3 children), well stocked kitchen, good beds. The view is such a treat. And getting down to the beach was simple. It is also located close to the wharf areas in Bodega Bay so visiting them was very easy with little driving. The host, Margaret, was pleasant and informative in all of her communication. I had no doubt if we had a problem needing immediate attention (we didn't) that she'd be right on it to find a solution. We took a vote and it was unanimous for staying here again if the opportunity ever arises. It was worth the fairly long drive for us (from the Sierra foothills east of Sacramento) and every penny spent otherwise.

This house is incredible! The views of the beach and harbor are magnificent. The host is quite possibly the kindest owner I’ve ever encountered. The home is beautifully appointed and well stocked. Can’t wait to return!

Pros: Great location, clean, roomy, views of the bay and coast, well stocked kitchen, nice linens, pillows and quality paper products. Good communication with owners Cons: Master 4 poster bed is extremely high and needed step stools to get into bed..quite difficult if you have any mobility issues or are a smaller person. Noisy mattress Second largest bedroom on corner intersection of two streets and cars turning light up bedroom at night like a spot light!! No blackout shades! Spoke to owners and they said these issues to be addressed,

We’ve stayed in harbor homes of Bodega Bay many times and this house is one of the best! The property is lovely and well-stocked, the location is fabulous, and Margaret (the owner) is wonderful and highly responsive! She even texted me to make sure we weren’t affected by a local power outage! This is our second time at the property and we would absolutely stay here again! Many thanks!

Here for a family reunion with many families renting in this development. Happy to say we liked our rental the best. It was perfect for our family and had such a nice floor plan and everything you could dream of. We didn’t even mind that the weather wasn’t good because we had this lovely home to come back to after doing things with the extended family. We recommend this beautiful home to anyone who wants a perfect property.

What an incredible place. Full stop. We had an amazing time, and are so grateful for being able to stay at this fantastic home. Everything was perfect; from the direct communication with the wonderful owners, the extra towels, the location, the ease of parking, the hot tub, the beautiful silver and flatware, to the priceless views. I could go on and on. It was a Father's Day for the record books - swimming, dining, kites, hikes, exploring the region -- everything I could've hoped for.
