Gorgeous well appointed home.

We were much happier than expected. First positive experience with a Merideth property. The property was extremely clean and everything was in working order. We felt very comfortable and the home has a beautiful view of the Sandy River. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything at the location was well kept, great communication, and the hot tub was clean/perfect. Not too far from government camp and super spacious

Clean, spacious, clearly loved and well-maintained property. This house felt very private but still safe and we had a lovely time watching the snow come down from the hot tub. 10/10 would stay here again.

Beautiful house, well appointed kitchen everything needed to be cozy and cook! Love the view, great even when stuck inside, it rained all but 2 days of our week-long trip. Close to ski, sites, Sandy and Govy. You should know the tv situation is not good. Only living room tv works. Master bedroom is deeply flawed. Honestly buy a best buy Android ready tvs and bring them with you for the 3 bedrooms. It's not ok that it's not provided in any of the bedrooms.

They are soldiering on to stay open and feed travelers as well as folks who live here. Table and takeout service might be slow or limited, so have some patience and tip the heck out of everyone. We're so grateful for places like Rendezvous Grill, Barlow Trail Roadhouse, El Burro Loco, Skyway, and Dragonfly Cafe. And Mt. Hood Vacation Rentals makes it easy to enjoy the mountain, even during tough times.

Cabin has three bedrooms a fantastic kitchen, with floor to ceiling windows in the great room with views of the river and forest. Everything was exactly as described in the website. Can recommend.

Rapid River Retreat was beautifully located and maintained. Although the capacity indicates it can suit a party of 8 (if I remember correctly), it may be a bit cramped in sleeping space only if more than 5 or 6. We will definitely be returning so would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

This place was covered in dust and spider webs all over the ceiling in the living room and up on the cabinets in the kitchen, our son had the worst time with it because of his allergies and asthma he was pretty uncomfortable durning our stay. Honestly it was a pretty big turn off for us. After paying close to $300 a night we just felt this place should have been cleaned up better. In the up stairs bathroom there was a solid yellow ring in the toilet and hair on the shower floor. It just seemed to be cleaned up super fast before we arrived. Normally I hate to leave a bad review but we weren’t very satisfied this time around.

The property tucked away at the end of a private gated lane exudes privacy. We spend the majority of our time outside enjoying the view and sounds of the river. Our goal was to stay put and we did. We never had a need to leave the property. The property description was right on – this property is truly a retreat! The house is perfect for relaxing and hanging out. Lots of open and light spaces with a great room living environment. The layout is very conducive to a family gathering. Do not worry about packing any kitchen utensils or cookware – this place has it all. Whatever we looked for we found. The entire property inside and out was very well maintained and kept up. There were several special touches and amenities throughout the home that that were nice to have access to, especially the spa towels and pre-measured sanitizer for the hot tub. This is our 4th stay with Mt Hood Vacation Rentals. Mt Hood Vacation Rentals are experts at providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the guest experience is what they are looking for.
