This is a great place to stay. We were in town with our two adult children and their spouses for the Bourbon Trail. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit around and chat and play games in the evenings.

The house was a perfect location and stay for my group as we hit the bourbon trail. Lots of room in the house, comfy beds and an awesome bourbon room. It did get a little loud being near the street and train but that cannot be controlled. Only upgrade would be a gas grill. Great place to stay would for sure stay again. Beatiful home!

We had an amazing time discovering KY! The Woodford House did not disappoint! It is centrally located between a bunch of different attractions. We toured distilleries, Louisville Slugger Museum, Ark Encounter, Churchill Downs and the KY Horse Park. All places were within an hours drive.
This house was perfect! When we come back, we definitely will be staying here in Lawrenceburg!

We loved the size and space of the house. The beds were comfy and the furnishings were nice. The kitchen cabinets lacked basic things like serving dishes, salad serving bowls, grill tools and sharp knives. The coffee bar was a thoughtful touch, with plenty of supplies for the coffee drinkers in our group. The Kleenex also were an unexpected courtesy. The house is on a VERY busy street, though, with active train tracks nearby. None of us slept well because of all the noise. The neighborhood also appeared to need a lot of TLC. Close to everything.
Other than the location and the poorly appointed kitchen, it was a great stay. Super comfortable, with an easy check-in and check-out plus extra hospitality touches.

The Woodford House is such a charming historic home! It was nicely updated, spacious for our family of 6 adults and a baby, and had all the conveniences we needed. We enjoyed playing games on the large dining room tables, watching sports on the large TV, and especially having drinks in the really cool, relaxing bourbon room! Location was great - close to distilleries and wineries. The hosts were so nice and helpful.

Comfortable home. Clean and well stocked. I really appreciate that it was dog friendly. The neighborhood is a bit questionable with vacant and boarded up homes nearby. The home is also on a busy street and near a train crossing.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to start and end each day on our Bourbon Trail adventure with extended family! The Woodford House was located within an easy drive of a number of distilleries and fantastic restaurants, and the house itself was roomy enough for six adults to relax and have our own space while also accommodating meals, movies and bourbon tastings as a group. All bedrooms are upstairs, which is a great setup when your group is a mix of early birds and night owls. Every detail of the house and the stay seemed perfectly orchestrated for an unforgettable stay, which it was. Many thanks to our hosts for putting together the perfect Kentucky hideaway for their guests to enjoy!

Definitely the nicest VRBO with the MOST accommodating hosts we've ever stayed at. Location was in an active part of town that was a minutes-walk away from shops and eateries. Our hosts provided a very clean house with plenty of room for six adults. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed staying at the Woodford House and celebrating my husband‘s 60th birthday. We use this house as the hub and during the day went to many of the distilleries. We also took a day trip to Lexington and toured some horse farms. We really enjoyed our stay in Kentucky.

Great place for us to go bourboning! We had 3 couples and plenty of room for all of us. Very nice kitchen and dining area, with a nice big table that we were able to use to play some board games in the evening while sipping our newly purchased bottles.
My only comments:
Kentucky trucks and motorcycles down the main street can be LOUD. Nothing you can do about it, and it calmed down after about 10pm, so no real issue.
Parking - I appreciate the parking pad, but we had three cars and it sucked to have to park one on the street, but that's not a huge deal either.

We were pleasantly surprised by how accurate the home was to the Vrbo listing. The house was every bit beautiful and accommodating as advertised. My friends and I were able to enjoy all aspects of this home and felt we received excellent value for our dollar. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer to enjoy the home more than we did on this stay. Spending most of your day on the Bourbon Trail leaves little time to enjoy the home. If we're ever back in Kentucky, we will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend on the Bourbon Trail with friends. The location was perfect and the short walk to downtown shops and restaurants worked out great! We thoroughly enjoyed the property and particularly the “speakeasy room”. This home has been beautifully restored and features fun spaces and unique decorations. The home has a wonderful kitchen, a large dining room with chairs for 8 people, a large TV watching room and a charming bourbon room with great sipping chairs. There are four bedrooms and two baths upstairs and a full hall bath downstairs. The home has a wonderful front porch and a nice patio in back. We had plenty of room to park three cars. The home is on a busy road, bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. We walked a comfortable 5 minutes to downtown for dinner and we rode electric bikes 5 miles to the Four Roses distillery.

Charming home with great gathering spaces. It comfortably fit three adult couples. Large rooms and great spaces for gathering to eat and relax after a day in the bourbon trail. Good location for a bourbon trail vaca. The house was not stocked well compared to others we’ve stayed at: five days, six adults and no extra towels, BARELY enough toilet paper, only two dishwasher tabs, etc. We found this disappointing and a point of frustration but others may be ok with it. The home is on a busy street so if car noise is an issues it may not be the best option. Had ample parking and the outdoor seating was very nice. Just wish it would have been warm enough to take advantage of it.

The house was great. Beautiful renovations! The town was so cute. Loved the shops, restaurants…if the wether had been a little better we would have checked out the winery! Enjoyed having cocktails in the Bourbon room. Had cocktails and coffee under the lights when the weather was nice! We had a wonderful trip for my husband birthday touring several distilleries in the area. Our kids loved playing in the tent and with the toys present. We were able to catch all the NCAA tournament games using the smart tv also. The accommodations were wonderful and check in/out was very straightforward. Would stay again! Only note for others with little ones, I was glad we brought a sound machine as there is some train noise but everyone very much enjoyed their stay.

Excellent two-story historical home completely modernized, and convenient to area Bourbon distillaries. Spacious, updated kitchen, a proper dining room, and cozy Bourbon room to relax and savor the day's collection. Four bedrooms, one with an ensuite.

This property is a nice balance of old, new, cozy and roomy. The home has 3 full baths which works great for 6 guests. There are options for spending a morning, afternoon or evening of time together-more personal for a setting of 4 in the Bourbon room or the entire group in the living area or especially the dining room set up for 8. The place was also clean with no weird dirty spots in the corners and no dust on top of the ceiling fans like you see in many places. The house is close to downtown. The sidewalk getting to town has opportunities but still walkable. The 2 vehicle parking is tight with a truck so parked the other on the side street-no issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the home was beautiful inside and clean. Host responded immediately! Thank you so much for the memories!
