Josh is an amazing owner. All my notes were answered immediately. We ran out of propane and that night a new tank was delivered. A great experience overall.

This home & property are as described with a fence for pets & children. The water access & dock are fantastic! Note that driving a boat through the marina houses was a little tricky though. Josh's communication was outstanding. He alerted us to a potential issue with the coffee maker and delivered a high-quality replacement the first morning! At that time, we discussed a gnat infestation. Josh was unaware of it, and we agreed that even if treated on Monday, we would not benefit before our departure. I am confident he will see to it. The gnats, however, made time in the kitchen nearly intolerable. We were able to clear them from the baths, but the kitchen was futile. Also, upon arrival the refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen had to be cleaned and disinfected. Long white dog hair was found on the floors & the sofa, & plenty of spider/cobwebs hung in the windows & at the ceilings. The house is huge which is great, but it may not be so great for the cleaning person(s). They may need more help. The home is sound for sleeping with plenty of space for early risers, too. It would be ideal for gatherings of family/friends! The fence is also ideal to keep the immediate neighbor's dog at bay from children & pets; however, the dog seemed quite friendly. Although disappointed in our visit, cleaning can be fixed!

Awesome house and location on the lake!

This house fit our group, which included a lot of teenagers, and we appreciated the screened-in porch, particularly because most the week was rainy. It's worth noting that while the dock area is quiet, your view is looking out onto a lot of little houseboats. It's also worth noting that there are definitely neighbor dogs that are not mean but quite intimidating and very assertive (one jumped on my sister's back while walking). Thankfully, the host has been brilliantly reactive to the accurate feedback about this and there is a fence around a large perimeter of the property, which was incredibly helpful with our dogs. We would definitely come back, hopefully with better weather!

Great spacious house that worked well with our daughters and their families (six adults, 5 kids) plenty of room to spread out. Each family had a bathroom to their self and we loved the screened pourch. The ease and amount of parking was phenomenal, that left room for the kids to play with bikes and scooters.

This property is beautiful. The house is perfect for a large family vacation. Plenty of parking space and a nice walk down to the lake. The dock is very nice with room for boats, kayaks, and all the lake toys! We’ve stayed at other lake houses on Norris, but this one is our favorite!!

This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house. Our group of 11 adults and a yorkiepoo had a fantastic week. Check-in/out was a breeze and Josh was very quick to respond with any questions. We enjoyed the new fence around the property! It was nice to be able to let our dog out off the leash to enjoy the yard.

House is beautiful and spacious. It has a large dining room table to play cards and games beside eating together and a large screened in porch to hang out. We rented a boat from the marina across the way. The lake was amazing. This was everyone's favorite location. It was a restful and peaceful week of bliss; fishing, boating, swimming, and just chilling.

Perfect location. I hate to even leave such a great review because I want it to be my own secret place. The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for parking. Nice dock for fishing and water toys. We have been to several rentals and agree this has been our favorite. We didnt want to leave! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The property was extremely well maintained, very clean and an incredible setting for our visit! We spent hours outside between the boat dock fishing and swimming and in the screened in porch. Our first few days we went to Dolly’ parks and then came to the lake to unwind and catch up with our Tennessee family. We would absolutely recommend this property and will be back and hopefully this property is available. The access to the lake is one of the best we saw after spending a day touring the lake on the pontoon boat we rented across the way from the house. The property owner even allows you to drive a vehicle to the dock which if you have people needing assistance is a great way that they can still participate with family.

Beautiful home! This place was amazing. We had 13 people from 2 yrs to 79 yrs old. Everyone had enough room to do what they wanted to do. The kitchen is HUGE! All the bedrooms were comfy & cozy. The screened in porch was great to hang out in. Josh was quick with a response to any questions we had. The water level was low so there was plenty of fossil hunting & climbing on the rocks. We rented a boat from Cedar Grove Marine LLC that was right around the corner from the house. Had a picnic lunch on a island on Norris Lake. We would highly recommend this home for your Norris Lake get-a-way.

Absolutely beautiful property, plenty of space for a family gathering. Well stocked kitchen, double ovens, state of the art appliances. A perfect home away from home for our visit, very close to LMU for our student to move in for a few days. The house is conveniently located a mile off Hwy 33, great access north to The Gap, and south for a visit to Knoxville. The property has a east slope down to the lake, no stairs. There is also room to bring a boat. The owners are fabulous, local and very responsive. We would 100% rent this property again!

My family and I rented this place to all be able to get together for our Christmas gathering because we live in 3 different states and it was hard to find something with us having our dogs, Well 4 of us got into town a day early so I contacted Josh just to ask if we could possibly check in early the next day and he replied absolutely no problem and offered for us to check in that day if we would like at a discounted rate being that it was so late. The place was absolutely amazing, the hosts were great and very nice people. I would definitely recommend staying here, I know I will definitely be trying to go back but in the summer or fall so we can enjoy the lake. It was way too cold to go near it this time.

It was a very large place and had lots of space for our gathering. There were a few issues, but owners were responsive and tried to fix everything right away. There was not really a lake to speak of it was more if a big puddle, the water levels were so low, we even saw this on our trip to the dam. Not sure if this a normal fall event or if this occurs often but as we were not there in the summer we did not mind so much.

We absolutely enjoyed this property. We had problems on the site booking and reached out and had great communication with the hosts. We searched based on availability for properties allowing dogs and in this general area. This place has so much room from the house to the water. We made friends with the neighbors and their dog who was a great companion for adventures for our dog. The back porch was a fav hangout area. Access to the kitchen and back yard made it a central area for everyone. Everything was super clean. The girls commented on this in the "twin room" . Not a cobweb or spider in site. The kitchen is so well stocked, we cooked everyday with ease. The grill was missing it's drip pan and that got a bit messy but everything else was just perfect. Things were set up so everything just flowed. Did I mention the space? So much room! The boys loved being on the water. They built a fire and hunted fossils and crawdads. This property has great access to the water but private. If we return, it'll be with our boat. This property was higher in our budget range after fees but worth every penny, we all left refreshed and being able to include our dog on vaca with us was the best.

This was a cozy home that hosted a party of 12! There was plenty of space for everyone! Definitely recommend!

Owners were very responsive and accommodated an early check in for us. We arrived even earlier and got to meet the owners, very sweet people. Josh even messaged the second day to check in and make sure everything was going well for us. The house is so beautiful, very spacious even with 11 of us there. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

My only regret is that I didn't invite more people to join us at this spacious property. We had 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 younger kids, and 2 dogs and had plenty of room to spread out indoors and outdoors with an extra bedroom we didn't even use. The screened-in back patio was our favorite spot in the house with the hot tub and dock coming in a close 2nd & 3rd. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the bathrooms were clean. As others have referenced, we were greeted many times by the neighbor's two large dogs, but both were friendly and went home after enough coaxing (but if you have a pet that doesn't like other dogs, I would not recommend staying here. The neighbor made no attempts at any point to control his pups). My brother brought his boat and found access to the marina really convenient and we were able to enjoy the of the dock throughout the weekend.

Beautiful home but like others mentioned in prior reviews it wasn’t the cleanest. Left over drinks in garage refrigerator and popsicles in kitchen freezer. The garage refrigerator needs cleaned badly. Upstairs bathrooms where not cleaned and bedrooms had food crumbs and a lot of dust balls on floor. Josh was quick to respond to questions and had someone come to spray for ants as well. Strange situation with neighbors and their dog, Sky, running loose the whole time. Their dog spends most of the day at this house. Don’t leave anything at the dock when taking boat out cause the dog WILL run off with it!!! Very friendly dog just weird situation. Big open floor plan on the first floor. When not out on boat the kitchen and deck were the gathering spots. We would come back to this place. I just recommend getting a different cleaning company.

The house was excellent and totally as advertised! Very quiet part of the lake and the sprawling property was great for the kids!

Joshua was very responsive and accommodated an early check-in. House & property are beautiful. WiFi was spotty - don’t take work with you! The house is clutter-free, and fun games are available for rainy days! Some areas were not as clean as expected and wet towels were left in the dryer. If I hadn’t of done laundry that would have been a moldy mess. Something to talking to the cleaning company about.

It was our first visit Norris lake and it did not disappoint!! The house was great - we really enjoyed the screened porch. The only negative thing I could say was a few ants in the kitchen and it needs a few more things- pizza pan, larger skillet, dish scratcher. All of these things were just minor issues that certainly did not take away from this amazing place. The neighbors were also very friendly and courteous. We cannot wait to return next year !!!

Great place for our group of 13 (9 kids 8-18) to hang out, swim, fish, and take our 2 boats out! There was something to keep all the kids busy. Kids loved the swim dock and having smart TVs to login to at the end of a busy day outside. Adults loved the large kitchen, enclosed porch, and double dock. Dock does not have dock lights, but a good flashlight worked for us. Great location in a no wake zone so kids could swim at anytime of day. We didn't want to leave!
