Great base for exploring the New Forest; a wonderful little property in a beautiful setting. Melissa was so responsive and helpful, really keen for us to make the most of our stay.
Internet was very slow, but not a huge problem for us, only when trying to watch Netflix etc in the evenings. But otherwise we loved it!

The amenities were great, everything was functional, and the kitchen worked surprisingly well for cooking given the small amount of space. It’s relaxing and comfortable with a gorgeous interior and the top bed with the skylights is so sweet, we loved looking at the stars at night. It’s a fantastic area and is less than a half hour drive to everywhere we wanted to visit. It was perfect us as we wanted to experience as much of the new forest as possible. The host, Melissa was charming and welcoming, gave lots of advice of where to visit and was a pleasure to book with. Thank you so much, we will be coming back. X

It was a perfect little idyll within walking distance of the New Forest and its charm. 10-15 minutes to wonderful beaches, yet with a variety of shops to hand.
Melissa and the family were so accommodating and had provided some lovely little touches for our week away.
And then there's the view from the roof!!!

The Nest is located in a delightful area - very quiet in the heart of the New Forest. It was scrupulously clean and well equipped. Our hostess had obviously spent a lot of time designing the accommodation ensuring that her guests had the very best possible experience.
The property would benefit from better signage (we passed it twice) otherwise no problems whatsoever

The location was perfect, in a lovely section of the New Forest. The host was very warm and welcoming. The Nest is a very well designed, comfortable and romantic spot. I would 100% recommend to anyone, travelling solo or as a couple.

The location and accommodation were beautiful - I did arrive a bit late (which they very kindly accommodated, be aware Google Maps might lead you astray slightly!). Will definitely come back - but next time more time to play with doggos!

We had an amazing stay at the Nest, the host was very welcoming and attentive to our questions and requests. The location is perfect for a peaceful idyllic break! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

We wanted somewhere quiet & relaxing to stay; to enjoy each other’s company & not have to think about the 9-5. The Nest provided just that, it’s located perfectly to explore the New Forest. Melissa’s such a gracious host & very welcoming. We enjoyed the bubbles & chocolate too ☺️ The Nest was lovely & clean, everything there is well thought out & to a high quality. Loved stargazing in bed from the mezzanine.

I had a lovely stay at The Nest. It was such a cozy space, perfect for a couple of days of relaxing and exploring the area. It is conveniently located to explore New Forest by bike or car. Melissa was a great host and very responsive, friendly and helpful. She surprised me with a delicious birthday cake, which was an absolute highlight! The bed was very comfortable and a great place to watch the stars at night. Highly recommend staying here.
Everything was provided for. The only thing I couldn't find was a dish sponge, but that's very minor :)

You can tell a lot of love and care went into designing and furnishing The Nest. Everything from the mezzanine, to the private patio and the ivy covered entrance comes together to make a wonderful vibe. It's the little touches that make all the difference and create a real sense of feng shui. Complimentary wine and cereal bars, lifejackets torches etc. It's a great location close to both the forest and the coast.

Friendly and very helpful host x very clean
We were unable to use bed because only access was up a not very safe ladder x for the price I paid I didn’t want to sleep in an uncomfortable sofa bed

the property was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean! every detail was thought of and the extras were amazing (bodyboards, beach towels, a picnic basket and blanket, torches etc). Melissa was an amazing host and was on the end of the phone if needed and sent some amazing suggestions for places to eat and visit.
there was nothing we disliked, we chose to use the sofa bed because I struggled with the ladder due to my mobility but was pleased there was an easy alternative option so it’s suitable for anyone!

Everything was immaculate and it smelt incredible, she even put up birthday banners, wine and brownies as it was my boyfriends birthday. Melissa was so welcoming and kind and made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to give us recommendations of places to go and eat if we needed them. The bed is incredible because you can watch the sun rise and set and look at the stars on clear nights.

We 'nestled' into this tastefully decorated bijou home from home. Lots of wonderful and thoughtful touches added to the clean and stylish environment e.g. welcome note, brownies, and environmentally friendly products. The patio was perfect for a little champs, chats and nibbles.
Our host was exceptional and at hand to advise on the facilities and services close by.
This is a suggestion and NOT a dislike. It is to have a non-slip mat for the inside of the shower cubicle, which being smooth got slippery. Otherwise, the bathroom as elsewhere was immaculate.

Everything! Exceptional unique accomodation, lovely hostess, wonderful location, comfortable, cosy, lots of extra touches that we haven't seen in other places we've stayed. Will definitely be booking back up to stay again & will explore the area further 💚
