Was a very nice property but should be noted in details that both neighbors on side of property own dogs that constantly bark at each other all hours.

We came to this property to spend some much needed family time after being split up all summer with athletic events all over the states. Our two teens each brought a friend and we were able to relax as much as we needed. The home is serene and peaceful. The river was refreshing and we used the lilly pad, water swing, and just enjoyed hanging out in the water. We dropped the teans at Schlitterbaun one day, went to Gruene Hall and took swing dancing lessons one day, floated the river another day. It was nice to be able to come back to the house and have peace and quiet. The house had a good amount of supplies like towels, including a few beach towels. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you!!

Actually, I think us adults used it more than the kiddos! Perfect location with abundant amenities, beautiful lush yard along with waterfront access. The house was quiet comfy for all also.

Had an amazing time, loved it

This house is a really great place to sit in the water and relax. It is shallow enough to put your chairs in and sit back. The house is very clean. Stairs can be a bit tricky for the little ones or older folks. There are 2 bedrooms with a very comfortable bed in each, and a bedroom for the kiddos and comfy couches. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms.

This is a beautiful property away for a relaxing getaway. Our kids loved the rope swing and kayaks. We loved relaxing under the shade of the trees along the shore.

The property was perfect for our vacation. We spent 5 nights and we weren’t ready to leave. The property is so inviting and relaxing. Looking forward to renting this property again.

We had such a fabulous time while at this property. The grounds are beautiful, the house is immaculate, the river is close. We even decided to stay an extra night, due to the fact we were enjoying ourselves so much!

This property was absolutely the best place we’ve have had the pleasure of staying at! It was clean and cozy and private. It has a beautiful view of the river and the owner provides kayaks and games and everything you could ask for to keep the kids entertained. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. The owner was quick to answer questions as well. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Really enjoyed our getaway with two adults and four older teens. With last minute changes due to the pandemic, the host was very helpful with suggestions. The house had everything. It ended up being a blessing that our plans changed and we were “stuck at the house”. We used all of the “toys” and enjoyed the shade, hammocks, river and fire pit. Thank you for sharing your perfect home on the river.

The house and location were perfect. Very clean , fully equipped kitchen , even a Keurig. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 Kayaks and paddle board and spent most of our time outdoors as the property is gorgeous! Will 100% stay again!

My parents, my family, and my brother’s family met at this adorable house on the river. We live in Lubbock and everyone else lives in San Antonio, so we were really looking forward to this time together. This spot did not disappoint! We used almost every amenity. We grilled, we floated, we paddled, we played with the lawn games, we slept in the hammock swings, and enjoyed our coffee on the deck. We chose the house for its access to the water and stayed in the water as much as possible. The beds are comfortable and the teenagers enjoyed the smart TV and WiFi. Our daughter is 9 yrs old, so she enjoyed the shallow water of the river right by the house. My parents struggled with all the stairs leading up to the house. Just something to keep in mind if there are older people in your group. We had a great stay and can’t wait to go back!!
