The Blue Lagoon was a fun and comfortable base for the eight of us. We appreciated how organized and well stocked the house is.
The downstairs pool area is big and cool. Even the pool water was cool in mid July. Fun games and plenty of seating. The gates have safety locks so our kiddos (almost 2 years old and 2 1/2 years) and the adults could just kick back.
The outdoor shower in the pool area was convenient when we returned from our beach trips ( a very quick drive away).
Our host Jose was very responsive and gracious. We hope to return to the Blue Lagoon.

We loved the property! It was clean and comfortable! We loved the pool and the beds were very comfortable! The only complaint was the neighbors next door played music very loud all night!

The house was very nice and clean. There is limited space to put away clothes in the bedrooms and we were confused when we saw the pool and hot tub are all one. The owners were great about responding to questions and made sure we were well taken care of

This beach house was cozy, clean and so cute. Ample space, well-stocked and comfortable. The lounge area underneath makes the house all the better, especially for teens wanting to be on property but away from the adults.
Property managers were accommodating, helpful and friendly.
The only negative is that this house is located on the non-golf cart legal side of the highway. I wish that fact was mentioned in the listing for those not familiar with the Port Aransas rules and area, in general.

We had a great stay! Our group of 12 (including kids and teenagers) had plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. The heated pool was a must and was enjoyed by all. It was very nice to have beach towels and toys provided. The nature preserve was a great view. We had a great time hanging out at the house playing games, swimming in the pool, and going the short distance to the beach. We'll be back!
There was plenty of tableware for us and cookware. However, it would have been nice to have more cooking staples. Spices, tin foil, coffee filters etc. But, there is a little grocery store in town, so you can get these supplies locally.

Jose and his team were amazing! The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Each room was very comfortable and having three bathrooms was a huge plus. The pool (heated) was a great addition because we couldn't really swim in the ocean due to it being November.
There is a golf cart facility right across the street so that is a main view, but the sunset (which was amazing) and the nation preserve is fully visible. Lots of cool bird watching! The other thing is that the neighbors are pretty close. The back yard is right next to two other backyards and the fence isn't a privacy fence. Even with that being said, we did enjoy our time outside in the pool and the laid back fire pit and tv.
Our overall stay was really great. We also left a hat at the VRBO house and Jose and his team mailed it to us! The customer service was great and the house was a great fit with our weekend.

There were 7 of us that stayed, 4 adults and 3 kids. The layout if great, we did not feel like we were on top of each other at all! The house has anything you would need and the patio area is a great space and loved having the pool. Great location, and Jose was an absolute pleasure to work with, he responds very quickly and is there to help with anything you need.

Overall it was a great stay!! Our family made the best memories. House was very comfy for all of us. We had a couple things that happened but the owner reached out personally and was great about it all. Great spot. Lots of room, and everything was well taken care of.

We spent 4 nights at the Blue Lagoon and it was a delightful house. Plenty of room in the house and with 3 bathrooms it is easy to handle a large group (7 of us). The downstairs area with the pool was very nice as it allow both kids and adults to relax and play games. We will definitely keep this rental in our list of favorites!

Jose is a great host, awesome communication. Lovely open concept kitchen & living room with spacious 4 bedrooms. All the beds were comfortable. The outdoor living space & pool were perfect for our family/friends group of 7. The property is a close drive to the beach access and town.

Blue Lagoon was the perfect house for our Spring Break trip! A beautiful home with the right amount of space for 3 couples and kids. The kitchen and living room are the perfect size for hanging out and the rooms and bathrooms are immaculate! The hang out space under the house is perfect for keeping kids and adults busy while hanging at the house! The heated pool was a Godsend and perfect for the cooler Spring Break days. The owner is wonderful, super responsive and helpful! We will be renting again!

Enjoyed our stay at The Blue Lagoon! The place was clean and just as the pictures showed. Our group was torn over the mattresses, they were high quality, but very firm! I personally loved them and slept great however not everyone in our group agreed. Overall we had a great experience, and would return!

Very clean, heated pool was great. Pool wasn't hot the first morning but Stephanie came right over and it was hot in a couple of hours.

We loved this property, very clean spacious and it had everything you needed. Short drive to Mustang Island and if you didn't want to drive the pool was perfect for us and our children. It also can be heated. The outdoor area was perfect for cooking, eating and playing games they had out there. Jose the owner was absolutely wonderful, he checked on us from time to time to make sure if we were ok or if we needed anything to just let him know. 😊 We plan on coming back to this property for another getaway. #futurelongtermguests

We rented this house for my birthday and it was wonderful! The house looks just like the pictures and was so clean! It had everything we needed and was perfect for us! The downstairs patio and pool was our major hangout spot! Only a short drive to the beach and downtown. We can’t wait to come back to Port A! 10/10 Recommended!

Awesome Experience!
We had 11 adults and one child in our group. We had plenty of sleeping room and it was very functional with the 3 bathrooms and spacious common area. The house is just as the pictures show - super cute and clean! The downstairs area was so fun after a day at the beach.
The owner was super understanding and nice as well. We had more cars due to us being unable to carpool like we planned. Also we were able to check in early, and check out late. Overall I would recommend this house to anyone! 5 stars!!

Beautiful home.
The Blue Lagoon was the perfect home for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for the eight adults and five children and enough activities for us all. When we grew tired of the beach we would return to the home for games and relaxing in the pool. You really thought of every detail. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, we will definitely be visiting again.

FRESH AND CLEAN
Not sure if we were the first people to stay here but it sure felt like it!!! Everything was clean and well stocked just as advertised. The check-in process and communications from the property manager and owner were very thorough and timely. All 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths had great space and were well stocked with linens and towels. There was even a closet fully equipped with baby supplies from high chair and toys to pack-and-play. The whole family enjoyed the patio space with yard jenga and miniature ping-pong table. It was a 10 out of 10 for us! Look forward to coming back again!
