Gorgeous property on a beautiful beach. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Everything was clean and comfortable 3 Great patios to sit out on depending on the time of day! Lower patio was perfect breeze during the day Main floor was perfect in evenings and morning. Comfy beds and fully stocked kitchen! Great beach chairs for use just a few steps from the condo. Best place we have stayed at in Florida! Great food trucks in walking distance. We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed. If you are looking for a place to stay where there are no crowds and everyone is friendly then this place is it.The stairs are the only down side but we did ok. The top hand rail needs to be extended. I did not want to leave!

Captains Roy's was Awesome, our stay was great and the weather was too. we have been to Mexico Beach mulitple times. We have stayed at one of LeGenia's places every time, she is a great host. Cant wait to our next trip.

Beautiful views and quiet. Close to everything we will be back

Captain Roy’s is a beautifully appointed home for a perfect getaway on the beach. The description and pictures online are very accurate-it is as beautiful and comfortable as it looks! We especially enjoyed the balconies overlooking the water, array of seating areas, close access to the uncrowded beach and quaint town with a few local restaurant and food truck options. There is a also Dollar General just up the street with everything you could need and a grocery store about 15 min away in Port St. Joe. This home and location offers a tranquil place to getaway and enjoy the natural beauty all around.

Lovely condo right on the beach that was tastefully decorated and very clean. Host was quick to respond to any inquiry.

Excellent property right on the beach

I first visited Mexico Beach in 1991 and this was my first trip since 2017. While they are still recovering from hurricane Michael in 2018, it is the same piece of paradise I have enjoyed for years and the local residents are just as friendly as ever. This trip I traveled alone and spent time in thought and self reflection. Long morning walks on the beach and afternoons soaking up the sunshine is an ideal way to relax, rewind, and recharge. Captain Roy's was the perfect place to reconnect and heal with my "unforgotten coast." It was everything I had hoped it would be except my stay wasn't quite long enough. I will return soon and often and hope to stay at Captain Roy's or another of LaGenia's properties when I do.

What an absolutely beautiful property. LOVE the 3 levels with outside areas on each. Great location. Steps to the water. Gorgeous views and amazing sunsets. If you’re looking to relax and listen to the waves crashing, this is the perfect spot. I’m so glad I took a chance and tried a new area. We fell in love as soon as we arrived. This place is so much better than we could have imagined. The unit has everything you need. We can’t wait to come back, and you can’t go wrong with this lovely home. I really don’t know what to say, except that we WILL be back next year for a longer stay. The couple that accompanied us was impressed! The home was very clean, the beds were very comfortable!! The location was on point, the local food trucks deliciously hot! The amenities gets a thumbs up. I want to say thank you to the host LaGenia for being so kind and patient she’s amazing!! Vrbo was very helpful in assisting me on my first Vrbo booking.

This was a very nice condo. Clean and beautifully decorated. We loved how close the beach was and the different balconies! I would say that the stairs were the only part we didn’t enjoy but it was fine. If you cannot do stairs this is not the place for you. Also, it is remote. Not a lot of nightlife or tons of restaurants or activities nearby. That was just fine by us because we wanted a quiet week. We loved the beach because it wasn’t crowded at all and the sunsets were amazing! If you like the night life this won’t be the place for you. If you love quiet and beautiful views you should go!

Really enjoyed our stay at Captain Roy's. We spent a week in late September and the weather was great and not many crowds. The home was really nice, and we loved having multiple levels and balconies. So nice to have the covered patio/garage level to keep our beach gear and offered a lovely shaded and breezy area to relax and read. Mere steps to the beach and we often were the only people out there. We saw lots of fish, rays and dolphins and found some nice seashells too. The townhouse was perfectly clean on arrival and was well stocked with extra linens. Great kitchen supplies and cookware and all appliances worked well. Home is very quiet, even when we had some neighbors arrive later in the week we could not hear them through walls or outside. Slept great. Would definitely recommend and we'd stay here again. Thanks!

Such an amazing property!! Beautiful! One of the most relaxing vacations I’ve had. All the personal touches made me feel so welcome and at home! We will be back for sure!

My cousins and I met for a few days at the beach. Captain Roy's is exactly as pictured and described. There are 15 steps up to the front door and 18 to the upstairs, but it was clean, comfortable, and the view of the beach is marvelous! Had one question for the property manager and she promptly replied. Thank you!

Our stay at Mexico beach was great we have been coming for over 28 years. The house we stayed in was beautiful since the rebuild. The only thing I would add to the house would be more towels and a set of Pyrex bowls for microwave use

Love this quiet beach town! Captain Roy’s was perfect in every way! Master bedroom mattress too soft for me but other than that it was perfect. It was extremely clean and so beautifully decorated! Access to the beach is the best we have ever experienced! Hope to return next year!

The location is marvelous. The Sunsets are wonderful. The Beach is amazing. Our stay was relaxing and the property was clean, peaceful, comfortable and had everything we needed

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Condo was beautiful. We explored the area and it was nice to come back to a great place. We especially enjoyed the pod of dolphins every morning feeding just feet from shore. We will definitely stay there again.
